Gotta

go see my therapist :-).

Love you Lucy.

Anybody ever

think it 's all part of the plan?
Easier to destroy fish in a barrel right?

"The world’s population is becoming increasingly urban.
Sometime in 2007 is usually reckoned to be the turning point when city dwellers formed the majority of the global population for the first time in history.
Today, the trend toward urbanization continues: as of 2014, it’s thought that 54% of the world’s population lives in cities – and it’s expected to reach 66% by 2050."

Pretty

sure the intent of the overpayment of funds was for a roll of ones for the strippers at the bachelor party.
Pretty sure :-)

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha

Proverbs 1:32

Proverbs 1:32

And

yes I know how hard it would be for a freshman senator to get a slot on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Know what this guy said?

"I didn't come here to bow, yaknow?
I didn't come here to bow.
I came to conquer."

Only one entity I'll ever bow for.

See yourself there before you're there and you'll get there.
If you don't ever see yourself getting there?
You'll never get there.
Nobody who consistently thinks they can't do something will ever manage to be able to do it.
It's literally the first step in the process.
If there are setbacks?
So what.
All part of the process for when you finally do get there.
Love you Lucy.

Don't

ever think I don't know we wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for a lot of your effort and hard work.

I just like to give you shit because it was my idea first :-).
That, and the fact your jaw dropped and you chased me through parking garages and such.

Bahahahahahahahahahaha

Surely

"Moronic Idiocracy" should score me some triple word score points somehow :-).

If you think about it?
I am being prepped for the Senate.

Bahahahahahahahahaha

Morning

sunshine :-).

It's a new day, know what that means?
Yep, a chance to start fresh all over again :-).
Love you.

The

only way to get "there" is to see yourself as already being "there".

This

is Russia.
it "is the largest country in the world by surface area, covering more than one-eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area"

This is South Korea.
(Just the dark green)

They have roughly the same size economy.

Ever know of anybody that ever bought anything from Russia besides vodka or caviar?

They can not compete with us economically or militarily and Putin knows this.
They viewed our economic sanctions after their actions in Crimea (and the more recent ones) as an act of war.
Never mind that we were meddling in the Ukraine before they were.
This is why they are doing what they are doing.
This and the Russian Oligarchs love of money and probable ownership of trump.
"and the borrower is servant to the lender".
Proverbs 22:7.

People forget we had an oil embargo on Japan before they launched their attack on Pearl Harbor.
Yes, it was in response to their expansionist activities in Asia but my point is, you never hear about it and they viewed it as an act of war.
All you ever hear or read about is how it was "unprovoked attack".

I could go on about how we told The Russians after the reunification of Germany and the subsequent assimilation of all of Germany into NATO, that we wouldn't get step closer to Russia's western border (This country for whatever reason has historically been insecure about it's western border with Europe). and then we proceeded to add quite a few countries into NATO.
(Thats a blog post for a different day.)

What if the situation was reversed and the old Warsaw Pack countries were closing in on our borders after they had told us, "Not one step closer"?
What do you think our response would have been?

Probably not cyber warfare would be my guess.

Love you Lucy.

I

thought I had put this story on here but I couldn't find it so I'll tell it again.

A good while back I went to this barber shop I like in Owensboro.
I'm sitting there in the chair and this older gray haired gentleman walks in and several people say "Hey Wendell!"
I'm sitting there like, wow, Wendell must be a popular guy.

A little while later somebody ask him,
"Wendell, is there anything you miss about being up there?"

That's when it hit me, oh shit, that's Senator Wendell Ford (Retired).

"I miss being able to help people." He says.

I guess it was an accident I heard that that day right?

Be like Wendell.

Seriously

just the thought of some old codger waking up and dropping his jaw after seeing the news that we're filing to run is just about good enough reason to do it all by itself :-).

Alexander will be vulnerable in 2020.
He will be 80 years old and will have been there for going on 17 years.

The pivots getting ready to swing a different direction.

Still

waiting for someone to tell me why God couldn't have caused the Big Bang.

If astrophysicist theorize that time space energy and matter could have created themselves independent of one another, then why couldn't God have created himself?

" a typical burst releases as much energy in a few seconds as the sun will in its entire 10-billion-year lifetime"

Incomprehensable anyone?
What other entity do we know that is incomprehensible?

Love you Lucy.

:-)

Love you Lucy.

Senate,

right out of the blocks, forget the house.

Lets

try for a Senate seat someday Lucy.
I've mentioned this before.
It would be the logical evolution of the journey we've been on for a while now.

I would'nt care if we won or lost.
What the fuck would I need that lifestyle for?
Other than to try and help people?

I'll be perfectly happy with the lifestyle were bout to have anyway.
Nothin to loose.
So win or loose, who wins?
We do.

I tell you one thing, we could raise some hell, have a good time and scare the living shit out of some incumbent, and if we won?
We'd fight for whats right.

I mean seriously what is somebody gonna attack me on?
I've already put it all out there.
"Yeah, I said it and I mean it"
I'm telling you just announcing and filing would put a lump in somebodys throat.

Trump did prove one thing, the age of the unorthodox candidate is here.

I'm

never gonna call The Donald, President Trump, or Mr. President.
Not untill this investigation is over anyway.

"But that's disrespectful to the office" I can here them say.

Really?
He's a pig of a person, how about he's disrespectful to the office?
How about that?

Yep...

Been

chasin any more fellas in parking garages lately?

And you said you were gonna report to management about all the inappropriate text you received.

I reiterate, woman please :-).

We were

wathing the movie "The Candidate" and old boy has a dog named "Poundcake" :-).

I think I just came up with another nickname for you :-).
"Poundcake"

Cause I plan on pounding your cake :-).

Bahahahahahahahahahaha

Oh and you said you crack yourself up, woman please.

Quite

the flurry of activity around here for something that's not happening till next weekend :-).

Tuesday, July 25, 2017

I

really like the way you're thinking about a particular issue.
Thinking it probably came from personal experience.
We're gonna help people.
No matter who they are or what the consequences.
Period.

Love you Bambi.

Need :-)

"I

say fly
away home
to Zion
(fly away home).
One bright morning when my work is over,
Man will fly away home."

John Wesleys

Three types of grace.
(I first learned of these on my walk to Emmaus)

Prevenient Grace

This is the radio waves of God that are always out there for us to receive if we choose. They are available to us from birth. It's the sense that something larger than ourselves is at play in our lives. Ever watch a young child while he or she didn't know you were watching and they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing but nobody had even told them it was wrong? When you ask them to stop they look all shocked like "I knew I shouldn't have been doing that". Ever wonder where that came from? Prevenient Grace.

"God’s grace enables us to discern differences between good and evil and makes it possible for us to choose good…."

Justifying Grace

This is when the light switch is flipped and we become a different person in Christ. Now we have willingly accepted Grace. It's the conversion moment and redemption all rolled into one. We were listening to the radio message and we accepted it. It could happen in an instant or it could have been building up for years and finally reached it's climactic state.

"It may be sudden and dramatic, or gradual and cumulative"

Sanctifying Grace

If justifying grace was a candle being lit, or a light bulb being switched to "on"? Then sanctifying Grace is a chandelier. Justifying Grace having grown and matured into such.

"Salvation is not a static, one-time event in our lives. It is the ongoing experience of God’s gracious presence transforming us into whom God intends us to be."

:-).

Love you Lucy.

Wow...

But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you
when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
 “Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me,
 since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the Lord.
Since they would not accept my advice
    and spurned my rebuke,
they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
    and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.

Turns

out the best day to fly out from an air port is....

Drum roll please...

Ta-Da!

Tuesday!

Isn't that...

Interesting?

Bahahahahahahahaha

Oh you people are slaying me Lucy, just slaying me :-).

Love you
Dollbabay.

Who is

the artist of the week again :-)?

"In France a skinny man
Died of a big disease with a little name
By chance his girlfriend came across a needle
And soon she did the same
At home there are seventeen-year-old boys
And their idea of fun
Is being in a gang called The Disciples
High on crack, totin' a machine gun"

Methodism

"In Wesleyan-Arminian theology, which is upheld by the Methodist Church as well as by Holiness Churches, "sanctification, the beginning of holiness, begins at the new birth". With the Grace of God, Methodists "do works of piety and mercy, and these works reflect the power of sanctification". Examples of these means of grace (works of piety and works of mercy) that aid with sanctification include frequent reception of the sacrament of Holy Communion (work of piety), and visiting the sick and those in prison (work of mercy). As such, in "sanctification one grows to be more like Christ." This process of sanctification that begins at the new birth (first work of grace) has its goal as Christian perfection, also known as entire sanctification (second work of grace), which John Wesley, the progenitor of the Methodist faith, described as a heart "habitually filled with the love of God and neighbor" and as "having the mind of Christ and walking as he walked". This is the doctrine that by the power of God's sanctifying grace and attention upon the means of grace may cleanse a Christian of the corrupting influence of original sin in this life. It is expounded upon in the Methodist Articles of Religion:

Sanctification is that renewal of our fallen nature by the Holy Ghost, received through faith in Jesus Christ, whose blood of atonement cleanseth from all sin; whereby we are not only delivered from the guilt of sin, but are washed from its pollution, saved from its power, and are enabled, through grace, to love God with all our hearts and to walk in his holy commandments blameless.

Justification is seen as an initial step of acknowledging God's holiness, with sanctification as, through the grace and power of God, entering into it. A key scripture is Hebrews 12:14: "Follow after...holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord."

:-)

"At its heart, the theology of John Wesley stressed the life of Christian holiness:
to love God with all one’s heart, mind, soul and strength
and to love one’s neighbor as oneself.
See also Ministry of Jesus.
Wesley’s teaching also stressed experiential religion and moral responsibility."

I'm

smelling lots of bull shit these days lil miss thang :-).
maybe some is real.
Maybe some is contrived to serve a purpose.

I've

learned this much about life, if you don't think you deserve better?
if you're not willing to work for it?

You're gonna stay stuck in your same situation Ad infinitum.
I promise you you will.

Exactly :-)

Our love Lucy?

"It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful."

In fact, I would argue the imperfections make it more so.

Left

worship this morning and listened to
"Show me how to live" by Audioslave.

"Nail in my hand, from my creator
You gave me life, now show me how to live
Nail in my hand, from my creator
You gave me life, now show me how to live"

Promise I did.

Love you Lucy.

Now

How bout those ass cheeks?

Bahahahahahahaha

It's

really pretty simple.

There is a voice in my head.
(It's out there for everyone)
I know who it is.
I listen to it.
I do what it says.
It never ever matters how crazy it may seem.
Things work out the way the voice wants.
End of story.

I don't see how anyone could challenge this at this point.
Love you Lucy.

What

if the "new economic system" Bro Joe spoke of so often in his bible study on the Book of Revelation is the convergence of cell phones and banking?

"All 7 and we'll watch them fall
They stand in the way of love
And we will smoke them all
With an intellect and a savoir-faire
No one in the whole universe
Will ever compare
I am yours now and u are mine
And together we'll love through
All space and time,
so don't cry
One day all 7 will die"

Outa

time :-).
Gotta get.

Love you.

Deuteronomy 29:19

...“I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way,” they will bring disaster...

I know it is true.
I've done it to myself several times over.
I've seen others do it to themselves.
I've heard many a sermon about it.
Till the other day?
I never knew it was actually in the book.

Love you Lucy.
Sorry for being such an ass the other day.

Bike ride anyone?

There is a place in Kentucky, the western most place in Kentucky actually, that if you are not at this spot to begin with?
The only way you can get to this spot in Kentucky is to go through Tennessee :-).

Just look at the map :-).

Wanna go Lucy?

I do, just to say I've been there.
Who else you ever gonna know that's been there?

:-)

"I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living."

We

need another big ass sign in our home :-).

Psalm 101:7
New International Version

"What

was the first book you ever read?"

"Yours"

"Do you think that was an accident?"

"No. No I don't."

Know

the feeling.

Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter: You think I killed those people son?

Lesra: Now I know you didn't.

Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter: How do you know?

Lesra: I just know.

Now

"...sometimes we don't pick the books we read, they pick us"

What if you had just read all the old testament parables three times over and the entire book of Deuteronomy once all within a few days and then you're watchin this movie and you hear that line?
What would you think? I guess would be my question.

I am not hear to brag.
This and text are the only way I can communicate with you because it's the path were on Lucy.
It's like I sit down to read and I can't get myself up sometimes.

Let them laugh.

:-)

"It's very important to transcend places that hold us"

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter

Bro Joe

preached against the prosperity gospel again Sunday :-).

New Chapel is still the only place I have ever heard it preached against.

To me?
It seems wrong because if you come to God expecting him to bless you instead of just worshiping him and giving thanks?
It just doesn't work that way.

Now, on the other hand, if someone comes to God and worships him and tries to live a correct life and God becides to bless them?
That is completely different from having expectations from the onset.

Seems to me like the ones who come with no expectations shall be the ones who receive Gods blessing .

It's kind of a putting the cart in front of the horse sort of thing.

Anyway, I'm glad to have heard it preached against several times now at New Chapel UMC :-).

It makes me not trust or want to be around them.

I

wonder where he got that from?

I started listening to him when you were four or there abouts.
Think any of it has sunk in maybe Lucy?

As

for my enemies, both known and unknown who take pleasure in my suffering?

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

I

just really don't feel like you get it sometimes.

and somebody says,
"It's all yours, just sell me your soul."

What do you think I would do?

I know what I would do.

"What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"

So

yeah, anytime you wanna get everybody together and leave me at home?
Just suggest Sushi or Sashimi and I'll gladly let you go on your way.

We

Matthew 13:11-13

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:

Psalm 1:1-6

Psalm 1:1-6

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked
Blessed is the man1
who awalks not in bthe counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in cthe way of sinners,
nor dsits in ethe seat of fscoffers;
but his gdelight is in the law2 of the Lord,
and on his hlaw he meditates day and night.
He is like ia tree
planted by jstreams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its kleaf does not wither.
lIn all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so,
but are like mchaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked nwill not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in othe congregation of the righteous;
for the Lord pknows qthe way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
