The Europeans wanted:
A ceasefire.
They didn't get it.
The Europeans wanted
this meeting
focused solely on Ukraine,
not broader US/Russian relations.
They didn't get it.
The Europeans wanted
a second meeting
including Ukraine.
They didn't get it.
And if Trump goes to Russia
for a second meeting?
Then it legitimizes what Russia is doing
and has done in Ukraine.
And to make matters worse?
Now were gonna hold off
on secondary sanctions on China and India
for buying Russian oil.
Well good thing,
why in the world
was that idea
even floated around to begin with?
Cause that's nothing
but another recipe for WWIII,
raising prices
on a third of the worlds population...
So what did Russia get?
They got to throw egg on our face.
What did the US get?
We got egg thrown on our face.
What did Europe get?
Nothing.
What did
Ukraine get?
Nothing.
What a shit show.
Cause that is all it was.
