that don't know me?

I told the one today,

The situation itself has been a lil difficult.

glad you got excited about my lil project.
I didn't really expect you to be all that much.

I remember
working on that house.
I remember talking about Valentines day and how one sided of a deal it really is.
I remember a young lady saying something to the effect of:
"Well you shouldn't set yourself up with something you'll never top first thing out of the gate."
I thought: "How did you know?"
I remember the super bowl at my buddies.
I remember the bottle of Pappy van Winkle.
I remember being asked if I was interested in dating a certian woman after that night.
I remember telling my buddys wife:
"Somebody else already has my heart."
I remember telling this story to the people I was working with on that house the next day.
A certian woman really took an interest.
"Somebody has your heart? Who? Do you have any pictures?"
I told her our saga, showed her some screen shots.
"Oh my."
I remember being asked to say grace before we ate some chicken and dumplings I had made and brought over.
I remember the young lady just kept going:
"That's so sweet, thats just so sweet."
I guess because I didn't have much but was offering food for everyone.
IDK.
I remember later the lady at the house?
The one who wanted to know so much about who had my heart?
She looked a lot like your moms neighbor.
I just remember feeling like there was something more going on being there than what met the eye.
This was around the same time Nicholas was worried about me cussing to much around people I didn't know.

if thats not the truth I don't know what is.
Wildly successful people in any field aren't that much different from normal everyday people.
They just had something in them they knew to be true and they never ever gave up on it under any circumstances no matter what anybody or everybody around them or their own negative self talk was telling them. The thing that sets them apart?
Determination.
Most
people won't.
Most people will take whatever comes along cause it feels good.
For a while.
Sometimes people learn their lesson(s).
Sometimes they don't.
