Yeah...

so this woman takes over our group, makes absolutely no effort to learn anything about what we do...to quote our "Management Consultant" (MC, since we are contractors, Kenny) she "throws gasoline on everything she touches..." and now a year later after not learning a thing about what we do in the room we have a new CIO and all the sudden every alert gets a ticket?...It's just stupid. Some of these sites on dsl lines go up and down all night long...Open and close open and close...nobody even at the site for Christ sake...She is grabbing at straws trying to justify herself.

 

It's the only performance metric she can come up with to justify her position. I said a long time ago when she took over her position, what do they even need her for? The answer is they don't. They could make us all Kindred employees, fire her and make Kenny our supervisor. It saves them money. Think she don't know that? 14 guys in the room, she has been over us for a year. She doesn't even know our names lol.There are 10 Directors over 7 groups? New sheriff. Just gotta roll with it. No more FB lol. Not on this computer anyway. Cell phone? yeah...thats different.

 

I just hate doing busy work to make it look like we are doing something for somebody that doesn't even know my name or hasn't invested the time or the want to...to get to know her people. Her fault. Now she sees whats happening and she is scurrying for cover. Honestly? I think it's to late. If this new guy is sharp he will figure out that this organization is top heavy. Meanwhile we are all in asshole pucker tight mode...enough nonsense tickets about nothing to enough groups and they will back off the throttle.
