It was a nice day. Hubert went with Janet and I to the service at Janet's church, St. Mathews Baptist. Huge place, 3000? members? idk. Music is always unreal there. They have a huge choir and their own orchestra. They ended the service with the hallelujah chorus and invited everyone down who knew how to sing it. Preacher is really good. Only been there a few times in the last few years but each time I have went I have got something from his message. It was the last church my dad went to and he was a deacon so it means a lot to me as that meant a lot to him. Lunch was not worth the price but whatever, it was nice to be out with Janet and yes even Hubert lol. He said something at lunch about "Well now they say I am going to live." I just smiled, inside I was like "Buddy, everybody knows whats up, let it go, it's what everybody else has already done." He should really count his blessings. Well, really? We all should :-).
Nicholas went with mom and Al to Hilldale UMC. I told him a couple of weeks ago that I wasn't going to be around for Easter and he needed to decide what he wanted to do. The last time I was home he asked me what I thought he should do. I told him I thought he should go to church with granny and grandpa just out of respect for their and my wishes and everything they have done and continue to do for him. "Besides", I said "It's a chance to wear your suit." He said "That's kind of what I was thinking."
Nice pictures of mom and Al and mom and Nicholas in our front yard right in the bare spot where the leaves killed the grass lol. Oh well at least I got the grass seed for when it rains and softens up the ground.
Love the stain glass from St. Mathews Baptist as well, just beautiful.
They have two other stained glass windows but the light and the camera phone made it hard to get a good picture.
I think I have pictures of them somewhere, I'll have to try and find them.
I'm lookingat 4-5 hours sleep today and tomorrow.
Tons of work still to do around the house.
Wish me luck lol.
Love you.
Just want that ink sweetie, it's been long enough sweetheart.
