Had

a pretty good day yesterday.

Slept off and on till 2:30 PM.
Went to bike shop and had cropped fender tail light installed.
Already told you about part of that conversation with the owner :-).
Asked him how much it would be to install the Heavy Breather Air Kit for me.
Guy was a Harley Tech.
Opened up his own shop in Tell City across the bridge.
Nice people, wife works out front.
I don't mind to go to them because I know he knows what he is doing and it's a lot closer than a trip to Evansville or Louisville.
He works on peoples $50,000 show bikes.

Price is about the same or maybe a lil more, but I don't have to waste a day to eviile or Louisville.
So it pays to pay him.

Anyway, he said he would install what I wanted for $200 or so.
Third check at the end of this month = funny money.
I was thinking okay, lets do that.
"But I really need a front tire."
Like soon cause I will be riding a lot.
I told him "I don't know I really need that front tire".
He said, "I got a Vans and Hines air kit I'll sell you right here, it doesn't spit oil like the heavy breathers do."
He brings it and shows it to me.
I said "I guess you will give me a deal on it, it's been sitting in your shop for two years lol."
He just laughed, "Man I can't believe you would call me out like that."
"I saw that the first day I walked in here almost two years ago."
He says, "Here is the deal, I will sell you that, the cover and back plate included, and the front tire and install both for $800."
Front tire alone would have been close to $300 installed.
Filter $300.
Back plate $150.
Cover? close to another $300.
So your talking $750 just for the filter install?
And he gonna throw in a tire?
And all installed?
I told him I would see him at the end of the month when that third check hit lol.
He said, "Wait a minute, let me write that on the back of a business card for you, otherwise you'll come over here and I will be like "I said what? lol."

I was gonna get the filter anyway, best to take it out of an extra check at the end of the month and have the tire and all the installation done practically for free when you consider the savings.

I''m pretty stoked :-).
We put it up next to the bike and it just looks beautiful.
Nice to know at the end of the month all I am going to need the rest of the year will be an oil change and a full servicing.
I'm pretty happy.

Then a steak dinner with mom and Al.
Then uploading my stuff to Humana.
Then home, bills, laundry, dishes.

Then I got to chill and watch spongebob for a good lil bit and listen to owls and crickets while on the porch.

and all the time I was wondering...

"What is going on with her?
I know she is up to something...'

Promise.

Love you.
