You

just gotta see him to believe him. I've seen him four times, three times with David and once with Alan. Twice for free at WC Handy in Henderson, KY. During the show at Stevie Ray's in Louisville he broke two strings at the same time, grabbed them while still playing hard, threw them over the neck of the guitar and just kept right on playing like nothing happened. Plus I am sure you wouldn't mind the eye candy lol.

Lightnin' From The Bayou !!!!

There are lots of good reasons to attend the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April , 2015, but one of the best is chance to see Louisiana's number one blues export, Mr. Tab Benoit !

Tab has performed at TBBF on many prior occasions, and every show has been fabulous.
His show on April 11, 2015, in Vinoy Park, before fellow blues artists , Boz Scaggs and Ronnie Earl, should be one of the strongest days of blues music in our 21 year history !

Tab was born in Baton Rouge in 1967. He currently lives in Houma, La. , where he also owns a nightclub, Lagniappe Music Cafe. Tab founded the Voice of the Wetlands, a conservation group that advocates for preserving Louisiana's coastal lands and culture.

Mr. Benoit is one of the most respected contemporary blues artists, having won 5 Blues Music Awards, including two prestigious BB King Entertainer of the Year Awards, in 2007 and again in 2012. His recent album , "Medicine " was also selected as the top blues record in 2012.

Tab is respected by all the great New Orleans musicians, and he regularly performs with Anders Osborne , Cyril Neville, George Porter, Jr. , and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux , and others. He was also inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.

Don't miss one of the most energetic, original , and gifted shows of the entire weekend! Join us for the Bayou's best --- Mr. Tab Benoit on April 11, 2015, on the waterfront in St Petersburg , Florida !!
