Ezekiel 37 Cont

One Nation Under One King Cont.

Verses 14-28
Point two

Point one was:

It is here where it is promised that the two kingdoms shall be happily united in brotherly love and mutually serve each other.

Alright.
Back story yet again.
All started with the valley of dry bones right? Not just bones, dry bones, been laying around for a while. God's nation. Despondent, rejected, dispersed, depressed. No way we come back to life let alone go home. Not only that? They were divided. The two kingdoms were fighting while being dispersed in captivity. No way we make it home and build a new temple. But they did. By the prophet speaking the word of God to them, they were brought back together, sent home and were told about the two kingdoms becoming one. It's Christ and his church, Jew and Gentile at the end times, the two witnesses coming together (yea!) as well as the two kingdoms.
K?
Everybody up to speed?
Good.

Point two

How in the world do you get two different Kingdoms to come together as one? Simple. God changes the disposition of their minds. "I will cleanse them"  Ezekiel 37:28, "Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’” It's the law of double intention again. It's not only the temple that's going to be rebuilt in Jerusalem, it's God's temple in all of us that will be restored as well. He will sanctify these two Kingdoms, these two witnesses etc, he will put in them an aversion to the pollutions of sin and a complacency in the pleasures of holiness and then you may know that they will not defile themselves any more with their idols. In captivity these two nations being joined here assimilated into their oppressors ways and worshiped idols as they did. Not any more. Everybody gets confused about Idols. It doesn't have to be a statue. Love your house, your car, your status, your wealth, your children, your anything more than you love God? Idolatry. Period. Kings live in luxury. Trust me they do lol. The trick is not to care about whether you do or not. That's enjoying your reward, not idolatry. But the point here is they are being cleansed, sanctified, removed from their worldly ways. I wrote on here yesterday that a few weeks back I made a change in lifestyle. Pretty sure Lucy is/has as well. "Sanctified, to set apart as or declared holy; consecrate, bless, make holy, hallow, make sacred, dedicate to God. Make legitimate or binding by religious sanction, approve, sanction, condone, vindicate, endorse, support, back, permit, allow, authorize, legitimize, purify, cleanse, free from sin, absolve, unburden, redeem." That's what God was doing to these to Kingdoms, that's what he is doing to me and Lucy, and that is what he can do for you as well. Those whom God has cleansed he will keep clean.

It is promised that they will be the people of God, as their God and the subjects and sheep of Christ their King and shepherd. They had these promises before and now they have them again for the encouragement and faith of the nation of God.  Ezekiel 37: 23-24, They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God. (Happened/Happening) “‘My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. They will be his people, to serve him, and he will be their God, to save them and make them happy. (Yea!) David, God's servant, shall be king over them, to fight their battles, to protect them from injury, to rule them and overrule all things that concern them for their good. Trust me I've seen it happening. He will be their shepherd, to guide and provide for them. Wanna take a guess who this David is? Christ is this version of David, Israel's king of old, and those whom he subdues to himself and makes willing in the day of his power, (here, now) he makes to walk in his judgments and to keep his statues.

Okay, great but how are they going to live?
It is promised that they shall dwell comfortably. Ezekiel 37: 25-26, "They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. I hate to keep harping on it but some things hit on a personal level but Revelation 3:12, "The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name." It's not just me or us, although I do feel like we've both overcome a lot, it's anyone who overcomes and accepts God's will for them, he will put himself in you and set up his temple in your heart. They will dwell in God's land, cause you know, where else are God's people gonna live right? And many things will concur to make their dwelling agreeable. They shall have it by covenant. I was just talking to someone about this the other day. "But, all I've ever heard is God helps those who help themselves etc, etc, etc, that's not happening here." No. No it's not. It was an agreement. It was a covenant. "Will you go do this for me?" he asks. "Yes, yes I will." Then here, here is your reward. It's different than what most people experience, goodness is it ever lol. Anyway. two kingdoms, two witnesses, Christ and his church, Jew and Gentile merged in heaven, etc. How do they get it again? They shall come in again upon their old title (Old souls, young bodies anybody?), by virtue of the grant made unto Jacob, God's servant. In this context? Just as Christ was David, God's servant? So Jacob here is his church, his servant also, and the members of the church shall come in for a share, as born in God's house. What does God do? He will make a covenant of peace with them,  Ezekiel 37:26, "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever." In carrying out that covenant he will place them there, and he will multiply them. And here is something that just blows me away, cause it is just so true:

"Temporal mercies are doubly sweet when they come from the promise of the covenant, and not merely from common providence."

Entering into an agreement with God, is a different thing entirely from him helping you help yourself and is rewarded differently as well. I've told people, multiple people. I will sleep in my truck in a parking lot, I will eat out of a dumpster, I'll do whatever I have to do to see my task to completion, cause this is exactly what I've signed on for. I know the punishment that awaits if I don't see it to completion. I've also seen the reward that awaits for a job well done. Trust me, enduring three years of hardship, sleeping in a parking lot in your truck, or eating whatever you could scrounge up for a month or so, is nothing compared to what's coming. Nothing.
Or, as Lucy says:

This is the problem with our society. Everybody wants to live like most can't, but nobody wants to do the living your life the way most people won't part. It's all about instant gratification anymore and it's all just so very misguided.

So?
How else do his people end up home? By covenant and by what else? By prescription, it is the land, your home, your destiny, etc, wherein your fathers have dwelt (old souls, young bodies again anybody). Because of this reason you cannot but have a special kindness for it. That right there explained a lot lol. Israelites going home, I waited six years to make it there, and again, it is Christ and his church, jew and gentile in the end times. Everybody's going home Lucy! Not just us sweetheart :-) But you know what? In every case, you know what matters?
God will graciously gratify.
It was the inheritance of their ancestors, and therefore shall be theirs.
They are beloved for their fathers’ sakes.

(I've said since the begining my dad should have been me)

Here is something Lucy shared/posted just six days ago.

Well done sweetheart.
Lil Miss prophetess :-).
Yep.
We got another nickname for ya lol.
Love you.
