"Living Proof"

Needs to be seen in context.

"Born in the USA" fulfilled his promise.
It was a two, two and a half year cultural, global phenomenon.
Working class hero gets wealth beyond imagination.
Got married.
Got caught cheating on his new wife publicly not much later.
Came home.
Moved from Jersey to LA.
People turning on him everywhere.
Therapy.

Human Touch and Lucky Town simultaneous releases were the end result.
Didn't like them all that much when they were released except a song here and there.
Now days I consider Lucky Town his most intimate work as far as revealing himself.

Anyway.
"Living Proof" is a great song.
Relates.
Resonates.
Doesn't it Lucy?
