added to, deleted from and brought up to today's times.
He deserves all the credit.
Guy spent his whole life basically writing commentary on every verse in the bible.
Only made it to Romans before he passed away.
Others continued his work and completed it.
I couldn't imagine taking on a task like that during the 1600's.
Talk about inspired.
Why in the world bible commentary from the 1600's struck such a cord with me is beyond me.
All I know is, of all the commentary I read, his resonated with me the most.
After a while you get used to all the verbage and his style of writing so it became easier and easier to adapt for today's times.
