Isaiah 34 a Running Commentary, Verses 9-17, Six specific Points, Point 6

Verses 9-17

Point 6

The former residences of man shall become the residence and the meeting place of fearful, frightful beast

and birds which usually frequent such sad and pensive places, because there they may be undisturbed, and when they are frightened to that place? They shall as a consequence frighten men. The circumstance of the desolation encountered, being such as it is will strike horror upon the mind. Here in, Isaiah 34:11, "But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it, Also the owl and the raven shall dwell in it. And He shall stretch out over it, the line of confusion and the stones of emptiness. This is much expanded upon. The sea raven (cormorant) shall possess these residences, or the pelican, which tends to be solitary in nature, Ps. 102:6 "I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl of the desert."; and the bittern, which makes a hideous noise, the owl, a melancholy bird, the raven, a bird of prey, invited in by all the dead carcases, shall dwell there and all the unclean birds which were not for service of man, Isaiah 34:13, "Thorns will overrun her citadels, nettles and brambles her strongholds. She will become a haunt for jackals, a home for owls." These former residences of man shall become a habitation for lizards, large, poisonous and hurtful.
And in these former lofty rooms of state, where cringing boot-lickers and yes men to the powerful did wait? Poisonous lizards shall hiss and hungry wolves shall howl. In mansions formerly possessed by mighty overseers? The serpent shall erect his family crest. What once was a court for princes shall now be a court for owls or ostriches, Isaiah 34:14, "Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also lie down and find for themselves places of rest." The wild beast of the desert, the dry and sandy country shall meet as if it was by appointment, with the wild beast of the island, the wet and marshy country, and shall entertain and amuse themselves with such a perfect desolation as they shall find there. Leopards and all the brotherhoods that range the plains, or lurk in the woods, shall invite each other to come and make this wilder place their home. Fierce beast of every frightful shape and size shall settle here with their bloody colonies. The satyr shall cry for others to go with him to this desert place, or already being there, they shall be happy with themselves as they found such an agreeable habitat. There shall a night bird, and an ominous one, the screech owl rest. The great owl shall there make her nest, Isaiah 34:15, "The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate." and lay and hatch, the breed of them shall be kept up to provide heirs for this desolate place. The vultures which feast on carcases, shall be gathered there, every one with his mate.

"Animals will escape zoos, home etc and would now take over the world."

Consider:

How the places which men have left and stayed away from shall be proper habitats for other animals, which fall under God's nurturing and he will not neglect.

Who resembles those who are gloomy or bad tempered or unsociable and not inclined to sociability or conversation and have about them a sad demeanor? Are they not like these solitary creatures that take delight in desolations?

What a depressing; dreary, change sin makes, it turns a fruitful land into barrenness, a frequented city into a wilderness.

Now?
Now we switch time sequences, to a different place, a different time, with a different set of circumstances not brought up in this chapter previously. It's just like at the end of Joel 2: (vs:28-32) where it starts off saying, "And afterwards..." In that instance? "And afterwards..." doesn't mean right after the events mentioned above it in the chapter. Same thing goes here. Gods time is not linear. it's just not. It's all over the place all the time.

Here is an assurance given of the full accomplishment of this prediction,
even to the most minute detail of it,

Isaiah 34:16

Look in the scroll of the Lord and read:

None of these will be missing,
not one will lack her mate.
For it is his mouth that has given the order,
and his Spirit will gather them together.

The new mystics?
The book I had dropped in my lap along with the Mendenhall Reference Bible?
Said people like me aren't gonna take it for granted what others want to tell us.
We will seek out our own answers.
Forger our own paths.
Make our own new interpretations of scripture.
So here goes.

None of these will be missing,
not one will lack her mate.
For it is his mouth that has given the order,
and his Spirit will gather them together.

This is the gathering of the two's Lucy mentioned to me years ago.
It's the 144,000 (Figurative) from the twelve tribes mentioned in Revelation which aren't really twelve tribes at all,
but rather,
those who have true faith and are children of Abraham.

Galatians 3:7

"Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham."

It's the

"There are armies of you."
"There are armies of you."
"There are armies of you."
"There are armies of you."

just told to me over and over and over in my dreams for hours one night after it was imparted to me that

Revelation 6: 9-10

"When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”"

had been fulfilled after a shooter killed one person during the Burnette Chapel shooting.
Which, I did not know until just now occured in Antioch, Tennessee, and that fact alone just about made me just hyperventilate.
Seriously, I just had to get up and collect myself to be able to continue.

But he brings them together.
Not one lacking their mate.
And how does he do this?

From his mouth.

The mouth that created the heavens and earth and will likewise destroy it.

2 Peter 3:5-7

"But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

The mouth
that resurrected the valley of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37.
His mouth gives the order.
What gathers them together?
His spirit.
What do you think Lucy?

Zechariah 4:6

"So he said to me,
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:

‘Not by might nor by power,
but by my Spirit,’

says the Lord Almighty."

Isaiah 34:17

"He allots their portions;
his hand distributes them by measure.
They will possess it forever
and dwell there from generation to generation."

Trust me the portions are being alloted.
His hand is distributing them the amount deserved.
There are varying rewards in heaven.
Think a concentric circle spanning out from a central point.
The more you do for his glory?
The greater your reward and the closer you get to walk with him.
It's not an egalitarian (everybody is equal in reward) deal at all.
The righteous will possess their measure reserved for them.
And they shall dwell there eternally.

When this destruction comes? Compare the event with the prediction. You will find, it will answer to it exactly. The book of the Prophets is the book of the Lord and as such we should consult it and we ought to engage in conversation with it as of divine origin and authority. It's not enough to read it, but to look into it, search within it, turn first to one text and then to another and comparing them together. In this manner an abundance of useful knowledge can be extracted by such a diligent search of the scripture, which one can not arrive at ny a merely superficial reading of them.

Those last two sentences?
Just happened.

Peace.

Love you Lucy.
