26. Excuse
"How can I reconcile the doctrine of hell with the Christian's God of salvation?"
Answer: "Then he shall say also unto those on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41).
"Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place." (Acts 1:25)
"The lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is also longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
"Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23)
"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
