Thanksgiving
I waited patiently for the Lord he turned to me and heard my cry. Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord. All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
