Genesis 49:10 

The scepter will not depart from Judah,
    nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,
until he to whom it belongs shall come
    and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

Revelation 2:26-27 

To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end,
I will give authority over the nations—
that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’
—just as I have received authority from my Father.

Especially when you consider:

Revelation 22:13 

I am the Alpha and the Omega, 

the First and the Last, 

the Beginning and the End.
