Organics on an ocean world.
Data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft reveal complex,
heavy organic molecules originating from Saturn's icy moon Enceladus
strengthening the idea that this ocean world hosts conditions suitable for life.

Research results show much larger, heavier molecules than ever before.
In this image, dramatic plumes spray water ice out from many locations
along the famed "tiger stripes" near the south pole of Enceladus.
The tiger stripes are fissures that spray icy particles,
water vapor and organic compounds.
