guy came in 2nd at the race Sunday.

Happy for Chase Elliott to get his first win.

Happy for Al too.

Chase is his guy.

Chase had a lot of second place finishes before breaking through.

It was definitely his day.  

Holding off the defending series champ should go a long way in boosting his confidence down the road.

Get it?

As in the track?

Anyway.

Watkins Glen is one of my favorite tracks.

Just happens to be a road course.

Attendance for NASCAR has been down for years now 

but this track always manages to sell out.

I'd love to see a race there someday.

There and Bristol would probably be my top two picks.

Then Martinsville.

How many times have I told you about my guy finishing second this year lol?

He's in the chase which is all that matters at this point.
