At least he had the guts to leave the Republican party when it Nominated Trump.

I love what he says in this interview:

I've sat in churches where people have rambled on 

criticizing the Catholic church as false.

And his comment about evangelicals 

worshiping at the golden calf of Doanld Trump?

I started thinking.

Is it really that evangelicals support his positions on issues like 

rolling back protections for the LBGT community?

Moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem,

appointing conservative justices to the judiciary, 

attempting to overturn Roe V Wade.

Or is it that evangelicals support his blatant racism and xenophobia?

And support for him on all of these other issues (LBGT etc)

gives them a convenient "out" as it were

for their own, ignorant, bigoted intolerant belief system?

Lets just say.
