Wall Street warns US against barring Russia from Swift payments network
saw a version of this type of story in the headlines this weekend but with no internet access :-), (hint, hint honey :-) I couldn't read it until now.
My initial reaction upon seeing the headline (or something close to it) was this:
These banks aren't worried so much about removing Russia from SWIFT because of it "hurting the global economy and undermining the purpose of the penalties"
They're worried about the Russian response to such a move.
I wanna be clear we haven't got them booted out completely, (Like the article mentions we don't own SWIFT) we are trying to hit certain Banks, targeted sanctions etc. Also to be clear, the Russians aren't gonna see much difference between targeted removal for some banks from SWIFT and complete removal. We are still putting all of this together so it will probably be a while before everything shakes out and we can know what the Russian response will be. We might just be giving them exactly what they wanted.
To be sure, It's a sad state of affairs when the Banks know and understand more about the risk than the politicians do.
"Some of Wall Street’s largest banks told US politicians and the Biden administration that kicking Russia off the Swift financial messaging system would have a far-reaching fallout that could hurt the global economy and undermine the purpose of the penalties, people familiar with the matter said."
"Banks including JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup suggested Washington stick with other types of sanctions to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, the people said.'
Opponents of the idea passed along a warning: Booting Russia from the critical global system — which handles 42 million messages a day and serves as a lifeline to some of the world’s biggest financial institutions — could backfire, sending inflation higher and shielding financial transactions from scrutiny by the West.
(Maybe it was planned for and it's exactly what they wanted.)
"It might also encourage the development of a Swift alternative that could eventually damage the supremacy of the US dollar."
(Seems like something they might want)
"While refusing to rule out even the most drastic financial penalties, Biden administration officials privately concede that they aren’t seriously considering the Swift option for now because doing so would choke off all trade with Russia, including energy sales that are allowed under current sanctions.
"Such a move could also have much wider ramifications, possibly causing an energy crisis in Europe and ruining the livelihoods of ordinary Russians, a scenario officials say they want to avoid."
"Biden administration officials privately concede that they aren’t seriously considering the Swift option for now"
(This article was from Saturday, we have since targeted some Russian banks from the system.)
"Mr Menendez, along with Senators Bob Casey, Chris Van Hollen and House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, has pressed the administration to remove Russia from Swift, something Mr Biden has said cannot be done without the help of European allies.'
Godspeed.
No time like the present to accept Christ.
was probably a redline we shouldn't have crossed if we intended to not be affected by this conflict.
(I Wrote that at the very beginning of putting this piece together. Before I had read that in 2014 we were thinking of it (removing them from SWIFT) and the Russians thought of it then as a declaration of war. I asure you they still do.)
West unleashes SWIFT bans, more crushing penalties on Russia
'...going after the central bank reserves that underpin the Russian economy and severing some Russian banks from a vital global financial network."
"going after the central bank reserves that underpin the Russian economy"
They had already done the calculus on that prior to the invasion.
"severing some Russian banks from a vital global financial network."
That? I don't think they expected and in their oppion will warrant a response.
"U.S. officials said Saturday’s steps were framed to send the ruble into “free fall” and promote soaring inflation in the Russian economy.
(Well I wonder what his response will be?)
"Saturday’s move also includes cutting key Russian banks out of the SWIFT financial messaging system, which daily moves countless billions of dollars around more than 11,000 banks and other financial institutions around the world.'
(Like I said, I dont think they expected that and they will respond)
"Allies on both sides of the Atlantic also considered the SWIFT option in 2014, when Russia invaded and annexed Ukraine’s Crimea and backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine. Russia declared then that kicking it out of SWIFT would be equivalent to a declaration of war.'
(You think their position has changed since 2014? I don't.)
"The U.S. has succeeded before in persuading the Belgium-based SWIFT system to kick out a country — Iran, over its nuclear program. But kicking Russia out of SWIFT could also hurt other economies, including those of the U.S. and key ally Germany."
Clay Lowery, executive vice president of the Institute of International Finance. “While details on how the new sanctions affect energy are still emerging, we do know that sanctions on its central bank will make it more difficult for Russia to export energy and other commodities.”
(Hello higher inflation)
“Regardless, these sort of escalating sanctions, removing banks from SWIFT, restricting the Central Bank, this will all make it more difficult to get commodities from Russia and will increase the pressure on the financial market.”
They are in this for the long haul and are used to dealing with hardship. Their plan I believe is to wait us out. Just like they did the Nazi's at the siege of Leningrad.
To bad people don't know their history.
"Don't forget your history
Know your destiny
In the abundance of water,
The fool is thirsty"
knew all of this was coming and went ahead anyway.
U.S., European allies freeze ‘Putin’s war chest’ as Russia careens toward economic crisis
"The U.S. Treasury Department on Monday morning released details of its new economic restrictions against Moscow"
"...imposed sweeping new penalties aimed at crippling Russia’s economy, as the West escalated its financial war against the Kremlin over the invasion of Ukraine."
"Russia’s economy was already showing signs of severe distress before the new measures were implemented, with the value of the ruble plunging and crowds of Russians rushing to withdraw cash from ATMs.
(They knew this would come, they are a people used to hardship, for centuries, used to hardship)
"Under the new regime, all people in the United States and European Union are banned from trading with Russia’s central bank. The sanctions also apply to Russia’s Finance Ministry and its sovereign wealth fund. The U.S. and its allies were executing a hastily assembled strategy meant to squeeze Russia’s economy and make it very difficult for Russian leaders to tap money as it carried on its invasion of Ukraine for another day."
"The restrictions amount to choking off Russia from the international financial system."
"Private businesses have joined governments in the isolation of Russia. Facebook, Google and YouTube have announced plans to stop Russian state-media outlets from monetizing off their platforms.
"Twitter announced Monday it would begin adding labels to tweets containing content from Russian state media websites."
(The discerning mind would want to know why werent they doing this before hand?)
Oil giant Shell said Monday it plans to dump its joint ventures with Russian gas giant Gazprom, making it the third major oil company to announce such a step.
(Why were they still doing business after the Crimea annexation?)
FedEx and UPS have announced they were halting deliveries to Russia and Ukraine, and the U.S. and foreign governments have moved to block much of the Russian banking system from key international markets.
(Escalation at this point is probably a mistake but it seems to be the road were on. More on this in a minute.)
"The E.U. has also announced it will shut down airspace to Russian planes and support Ukraine’s purchase of weapons.'
The U.S. and its allies have not blocked Russia from exporting energy, however, as Europe in particular heavily relies on Russian gas.
(Go figure right?)
The U.S. government said it was issuing an exemption allowing “certain energy-related transactions” with the central bank of Russia, as the West has tried to continue the flow of Russian energy exports to sustain the European economy and maintain gas prices.
(Interesting, how long you think that gonna last for?)
“The unprecedented action we are taking today will significantly limit Russia’s ability to use assets to finance its destabilizing activities, and target the funds [Russian President Vladimir Putin and his inner circle depend on to enable his invasion of Ukraine,” Treasury Secretary Janet L. Yellen said in a statement. “Today, in coordination with partners and allies, we are following through on key commitments to restrict Russia’s access to these valuable resources.”
"The punishments reflect the extraordinary outpouring of support for Ukraine in the West, but they also carry the risk of a further escalation in hostilities with Moscow."
(Oh you can count on it.)
“In one fell swoop, the U.S. and Europe have rendered Putin’s war chest unusable. … That the U.S. and Europe have done this in unified fashion sends a crystal-clear message that Russia will face dramatic costs so long as Putin’s war of aggression continues,” said Edward Fishman, former Russia and Europe sanctions lead at the State Department. “This action represents a sea change in U.S. and European strategy. Just 72 hours ago, a step like this was unthinkable.”
“The steps being announced will undermine Russia’s ability to prop up the ruble,” said Richard Nephew, a senior research scholar at Columbia University. “The Russians won’t be able to defend the currency easily, and its value will tank.”
(We always forget, They are not us! And are a people used to and willing to endure hardship.)
Mark Weisbrot, a liberal economist and a director at the Center for Economic and Policy Research, said the sanctioning of the reserves could lead to an “economic collapse.”
“The Biden administration needs to de-escalate this conflict, and move toward a diplomatic solution before it is too late,” Weisbrot said. “Zelensky wants to negotiate without preconditions; Washington should do the same.”
(It already is to late, I thought it would be three months before we got to this point and here we are...72 hours later.)
"Adam Smith, a partner at Gibson Dunn and a former sanctions official in the Obama administration, said the attack on Russia’s central bank reflects just how quickly events have moved in Eastern Europe. Smith emphasized that such moves have typically been off the table because central banks play such a crucial role in a nation’s economy, noting that going after them includes “severe and potentially unknowable collateral effects.” In this case, Smith said it’s possible the sanctions will make it more difficult for Europe to buy oil and gas while also hurting the average Russian economically.
“It has historically been viewed as almost beyond the pale — the thing to do when sanctions, and diplomacy, have been seemingly exhausted,” Smith said. “That the international community was willing to go this far, and suffer the consequences of doing so … suggests just how far this crisis has gone in just its first week.”
“severe and potentially unknowable collateral effects.”
You can count on it. We are acting like he can't hit our grid/ financial sector. Now the world awaits Putin's response. This is the part where it starts to get more dicey for us. If we were willing to do something that before today was considered "off the table?"
Whats to stop him from doing the same?
Batten the hatches, it's bout to be a rocky ride here soon.
it's slow going?
It's because they (Russians) want it to be.
Kharkiv is bombarded; high-stakes talks end with plans to continue
"Both Kharkiv and Kyiv, the capital, remained in Ukrainian hands as Russia faced more resistance than it was expecting, according to the Pentagon."
I do not buy it. Not one bit.
Since I am almost caught up from the weekend?
(Im exhausted by all that BTW, all the posting that is)
Time to go see what is going on in the world and get farther behind again :-).
Awesome :-).
I love my "job" I really do :-).
I love you baby.
the same book I culled (WOD BTW) the info about the almighty from. It's one of the ones the good people of my church let me borrow for a bit.
"In fact, as the Bible insists from its very beginning (Gen. 1:26 ), God created man "in his image and likeness," that is, with a rational, spiritual nature like his own, and unlike "the beasts that perish" who own are mere "flesh" (Isa. 31:3).
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
(Us being the Godhead, father, son and holy spirit)
But the Egyptians are mere mortals and not God;
their horses are flesh and not spirit.
When the Lord stretches out his hand,
those who help will stumble,
those who are helped will fall;
all will perish together.
People who have wealth but lack understanding
are like the beasts that perish.
It's not just the horses but all the animals that perish. Animals don't have souls. They do not have consciences. They do not have self awareness to the point that they are aware they have such. This is reserved for man. Consciousness (the soul) is immaterial in nature, it does not come packed with your DNA. You will never find material proof of its existence. It is imbedded in everyman by Gods spirit.
I read a lot about consciousness as I believe it proves Gods existence. (the rational brain like mentioned above etc). People do a lot of studies about consciousness trying to find out where it came from, proof of it's material existence etc. All they are ever going to find out is more detailed knowledge of how the brain works. There is no "material/physical" proof of consciousness. It's immaterial by it's very nature. It's spirit.
There is a book from outside of our dimension of time and space that explains it all. yup, see above.
Whats your better explanation?
I got ears that hear and I'd love to hear it.
"Come, let us reason together"
What was the point in all those post you just did?
The point is really simple.
What you are listening for (or looking for) determines what you hear (or see) :-).
‘Hear this now, O foolish people,
Without understanding,
Who have eyes and see not,
And who have ears and hear not:
think I'm done :-) after this one.
I'm not even gonna do "In your eyes"
Whats the point?
"In this proud land we grew up strong
We were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail
No fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my face, I've changed my name
But no one wants you when you lose
Don't give up
'cause you have friends
Don't give up
You're not beaten yet
Don't give up
I know you can make it good
Though I saw it all around
Never thought I could be affected
Thought that we'd be the last to go
It is so strange the way things turn
Drove the night toward my home
The place that I was born, on the lakeside
As daylight broke, I saw the earth
The trees had burned down to the ground
Don't give up
You still have us
Don't give up
We don't need much of anything
Don't give up
'cause somewhere there's a place
Where we belong
Rest your head
You worry too much
It's going to be alright
When times get rough
You can fall back on us
Don't give up
Please don't give up
'got to walk out of here
I can't take anymore
Going to stand on that bridge
Keep my eyes down below
Whatever may come
And whatever may go
That river's flowing
That river's flowing
Moved on to another town
Tried hard to settle down
For every job, so many men
So many men no-one needs
Don't give up
'cause you have friends
Don't give up
You're not the only one
Don't give up
No reason to be ashamed
Don't give up
You still have us
Don't give up now
We're proud of who you are
Don't give up
You know it's never been easy
Don't give up
'cause I believe there's a place
There's a place where we belong
"In our secret world, we were colliding
All the places we were hiding love
What was it we were thinking of?..."
"...In this house of make believe
Divided in two, like Adam and Eve
You put out and I receive..."
(Primordial atomic soup since before universe formation anybody?)
"...Seeing things that were not there
(If you have eyes that see they are :_)
On a wing on a prayer
In this state of disrepair..."
Disrepair...:-)...not much longer :-).
"Jump in the water
Sweet little princess, let me introduce his frogness
You alone can get him singing,
He's all puffed up, want to be your king
Oh you can do it, c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon
Lady kiss that frog
Splash, dash, heard your call,
Bring you back your golden ball
He's gonna dive down in the deep end
He's gonna be just like your best friend
So what's one little kiss, one tiny little touch?
Aah, he's wanting it so much
I swear that this is royal blood, running through my skin
Oh, can you see the state I'm in
Kiss it better, kiss it better
Get it into your head
He's living with you he sleeps in your bed
Can't you hear beyond the croaking
Don't you know that I'm not joking
Aah, you think you won't, I think you will
Don't you know that this tongue can kill
(No comment :-)
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon
Lady kiss that frog
Let him sit beside you, eat right off your plate
(lil inside joke there :-)
You don't have to be afraid, there's nothing here to hate
Princess, you might like it, if you lowered your defence
Kiss that frog, and you will get your prince...
Jump in the water, c'mon baby jump in with me
Jump in the water, c'mon baby get wet, get wet, get wet
Kiss that frog, lady kiss that frog
Get wet, get wet"
"...I swear that this is royal blood, running through my skin
Oh, can you see the state I'm in..."
As in Nobility is defined as character and actions :-).
Another good one :-).
"...Waiting your time, dreaming of a better life
Waiting your time, you're more than just a wife..."
"...Find your sisters or brothers who can hear all the truth in what you say
They can support you when you're on your way
It's your day, a woman's day
It's your day, a woman's day..."
"...Changing your ways, changing those surrounding you
Changing your ways, more than any man can do
Open your heart, show him the anger and pain, so you heal
Maybe he's looking for his womanly side, let him feel
You had to be so strong
And you do nothing wrong, nothing wrong at all
We're gonna break it down
We're gonna shake it down, shake it all around
"changing those surrounding you"
I can't find the article to post the link rn but there are three things which happen when there is a mystic in your midst...
1) A unique contemplative prayer of divine origin comes about,
2) A sudden and dramatic change, noticeable by others is undertaken,
and
3) They affect the others around them in a positive manner.
And its a great song :-).
Great bass line from Tony Levin.
Guy has played on over 500 records including those from:
" John Lennon, Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole, Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Joan Armatrading, Tom Waits, Buddy Rich, The Roches, Todd Rundgren, Seal, Warren Zevon, Bryan Ferry, Laurie Anderson, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Gibonni, and Jean-Pierre Ferland. What I remember him best for is playing with Robert Fripp in King Crimson :-).
Old hippie wanna be comin out I suppose :-).
He wasn't with them for their first record but it was a cult classic in it's day:-).
"In the Court of the Crimson King"
If you opened the album cover up that was the image you got :-). A buddy of ours back in the day had it displayed behind his aquarium :-).
Promise :-).
Opening track was "21st Century Schizoid Man", go figure :-).
I love you baby.
"...I can hear the distant thunder
Of a million unheard souls
Of a million unheard souls
Watch each one reach for creature comfort
For the filling of their holes
In the blood of Eden
Lie the woman and the man
With the man in the woman
And the woman in the man
In the blood of Eden
We wanted the union
Of the woman and the man
In the blood of Eden
Lie the woman and the man
I feel the man in the woman
And the woman in the man
In the blood of Eden
Lie the woman and the man
I feel the man in the woman
And the woman in the man
In the blood of Eden
We've done everything we can
In the blood of Eden
Saw the end as we began
With the man in the woman
And the woman in the man
It was all for the union
Oh, the union of the woman, the woman and the man..."
For Honey :-).
You're the female me and I am the male you.
We've both agreed on that for a long time now.
"Lie the woman and the man
With the man in the woman
And the woman in the man"
"All day everyday till the end of days :-)."
"We've done everything we can
In the blood of Eden
Saw the end as we began"
Depends on what you are listening for what you hear :-).
"...I can imagine the moment
Breaking out through the silence
All the things that we both might say
And the heart, it will not be denied
'Til we're both on the same damn side
All the barriers blown away
I said please talk to me
Won't you please come talk to me?
Just like it used to be (:-)
Come on, come talk to me
I did not come to steal
This all is so unreal
Can you show me how you feel?
Now come on, come talk to me
Come talk to me
Come talk to me..."
to
Like I was sayin.
It depends on what you are listening for what you will hear 😊.
"...Sanctify yourself, sanctify (sanctify)
Be a part of me, sanctify (sanctify)
Sanctify yourself, sanctify (sanctify)
Sanctify yourself, set yourself free..."
"...Control yourself, open up your heart
Sanctify yourself, sanctify (sanctify)
Be a part of me, sanctify (sanctify)
Sanctify yourself, sanctify (sanctify)
Sanctify yourself, set yourself free..."
companion piece to todays "presentation".

[sank'ti fi, sank ti fi ka'shun]
To make holy; the process of being made or becoming holy.
Holiness belongs properly to God and it is he alone who can impart holiness, who can effect sanctification in our lives. The long history of his efforts to redeem humanity, culminating in Jesus Christ, is an expression of his desire to sanctify men, to set them apart for his purposes. The teaching of the New Testament compels us to view sanctification in a double aspect: it is accomplished not through achievement of moral perfection but in the reception of the gift of the Holy Spirit; yet, the saint-one who has been sanctified-must constantly seek to bring his sanctification to completion through consecration to Christ which manifests itself in turning from worldliness to the service of righteousness and perfect holiness.
For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
a lil companion piece to what I was talking about when trying to explain the "Twin Flame" love affair phenomenon.
Particularly the dark ages before star formation.
I love you baby :-).
Just getting started today 😊.
"Such a nice day
Throw your life away
Such a nice day
Let it go..."
"Watch you tear your self apart"
Song is about drugs? Or maybe addiction? Or thoughts of suicide maybe?
here's one for Pastor Bridgette 😊:
'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love (people on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure
You know cause...LOVE dares you to care for...:"THOSE PEOPLE"
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
hear 'em now :-).
gonna get right to it :-).
Believe in God in 5 Minutes (Scientific Proof)
Theres a video being uploaded currently that references this :-).
I love you baby.
On a scale of 1-10?
Come on now :-).
My baby so hardcore :-).
Hey, could you have covered up any more than you did yesterday?
:-).
True believers ought to be pointing out to those who would say such things...
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
If you truly believe the Bible?
And you truly believe, "all these things must come to pass"?
Who exactly do you think could prevent it?
Our longings for our political leader of choice aint gonna change diddly squat.
The almighty directs the processes of history, not a man, no man can stop what has been preordained since before the beginning of time.
"These final moments,
before you ascend,
requires the utmost faith,
patience,
and humility from your soul"
I would like to know, how does honey think were doing?
:-)
On a scale of one to 10 in page views would work :-).
I don't ask for a lot.
Butt I do want B&W and color photos from the time my feet hit the ground, till the time I shut the door on the outside world for us on "our day".
:-).
Yup.
Every second from time we wake up till were together alone.
Documented.
I love you honey :-).
"...in a world where everyone lies, he is under no obligation to tell the truth,"
Madeleine Albright says Putin making historic mistake
Were living in an age of deception. 280 characters can be sent around the world at the speed of light practically and reach millions. Anyone with a phone and wifi/internet connection can do it. Never before in human history has it been possible to deceive this many people this quickly. It's your first clue as to what age were living in and it ought to be your first response to those who would say, "It can't be now". And?
its backed up with? Scripture.
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.'
"...that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world..."
I always like her BTW.
To know he is well and thriving made me a much more content person than I already was.
If he is half as "made over"/ healed mentally as he seemed to be physically?
It was just a huge relief to see something you always knew could happen come to life and stand right in front of your eyes. (I always thought he was capable, still, it doesn't mean there weren't moments of doubt along the way, and not knowing something you're wondering about is the worse kinda hell to be in, knowing one way or another is almost always easier to take than not knowing something) and that if he could transform physically in that short amount of time?... It just gave me a lot more strength to keep working toward my own..."debriefing/healing" or whatever you wanna call it period here shortly. (Side note, the beard is staying :-). I might trim it up some, die it brown with some grey streaks or something but it stays and probably grows :-).
So that was One earthly reward.
Another is knowing that men of honesty and integrity come to you seeking knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment. That's huge, something I would have never dreamed of.
Example: The library had "Open Mic" night last night and I had originally thought I was gonna tell the waffle house story I'm fond of and which usually gets a good response but the crowd was family oriented with a lot of young kids in the audience so I decided that's out. Then I emailed you about how you were right about us being from the same star dust as being the most reasonable explanation for our circumstances and the thought of the quantum mechanics property of quantum entanglement came to mind and the next thing I knew I was the last presenter trying to tell a story explaining "A Twin Flame love affair" using the quantum mechanics property of quantum entanglement to explain. I ended with..."I know y'all think its the craziest thing you've ever heard of but the laws of physics say it's true and the bible says those he "Foreknew (as in knew beforehand, as in, knew before the formation of the universe, as in the stars weren't formed yet, it was just clouds of molecular dust ect) he predestined."
After open mic night was over a friend of mine I hadn't seen in years before last night (Him and his group sounded so great, particularly on "the Weight" the old "The Band song, "I pulled in from Nazareth, I was feeling about half past dead..." etc :-) nodded to me and said..."It's the same thing with twins and what they experience" I agreed and we started talking, the next thing I knew I was doing my miscellaneous ramblings to him and his preacher and when leaving something was said to the effect of..."Thanks for the teaching..." I left for home on cloud nine. Several others in the audience were receptive (smiled, made comments afterwards) as well, and all in all it seems like people have come to some sort of realization about what has transpired and is still transpiring right in front of their eyes. Acceptance and acknowledgement seem to go a long way to soothing out the rough edges of a long inward journey
My son? I always thought could happen. To have two true believers standing right in front of you being sponges so to speak, soaking up everything your pouring out and seeming to desire more was just not something I thought I would ever experience. And it was just two people!
So that's the second earthly reward
The third earthly reward is I know my baby is here and everything is right on plan :-). I said way early on (It's on the blog somewhere, multiple times:-) that if only I knew my baby wanted to be my wife I could die a happy man whether it ever happened or not :-). Needless to say, I could die a happy man right now :-).
That's three earthly rewards I'll carry around with me always which nobody can ever take away regardless what they ever do or say to or about me :-).
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Oh its open alright :-).
I love you honey :-).
my Sunshine, My Queen, My everything :-).
Current feels :-).
I love you baby :-).
You gonna stop by today?
:-).
Go ask yourself this:
Somebody(s) else ever had a better claim than us?
At a better point in history?
Who and when would become my questions at that point.
These individuals had the falling away and the great apostasy lined up behind them?
The man of lawlessness also?
They had their spiritual gifts (particularly Faith and prophecy) on full display for all to witness?
They were living in the age of deception that we currently are etc?
("...see that no one deceives you, first criterion, Matt 24:4)
So much going on with Ukraine it's hard to even get started on AI deepfakes, etc these days)
We do not know when he's coming back, we are not him, we are not even worthy to hold his sandals.
Just saying it's about to start (The end times, or to be more accurate, the end of the end times) and were here and were about to join forces.
Been saying it a while now.
Godspeed everybody.
Republicans are condemning Putin for the invasion of Ukraine — and criticizing Biden
"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, considered a strong potential challenger to Trump for the 2024 presidential nomination, didn't mention Ukraine or Russia in his speech on Thursday, choosing to focus on major Republican culture war issues like COVID-19 policy and teaching about race in public schools."
(Exactly why was he spitting out diversions again?)
Danielle Pletka, distinguished senior fellow in foreign and defense policy studies at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute, agreed that earlier and more forceful sanctions from Biden would have been more useful in deterring Putin.
(What exactly would be your message, the one that you would want to convey, to the guy who can wipe financial records and shut down the power grid? People are trying to make political hay with this situation and the power is gonna go bye-bye here in the not to distant future. Brilliant! I was just saying this morning you're gonna see just what a colossal waste of time the culture wars were when were scrounging for food in dumpsters, and trying to find a way to stay cool/warm etc.)
cracking me up :-).
I don't care what kinda disguise you wear :-).
Nice bag BTW :-).
I love you baby :-).
many times have I said:
Russia may be primed to hack America’s infrastructure
First of all
MAY BE?
Really?
"U.S. officials have previously accused Russia of infiltrating everything from American power plants to the Department of Defense.'
"...with tensions between the two nations skyrocketing, and U.S. sanctions against Russia looming, Putin could retaliate by launching powerful cyberattacks against the U.S. Such an attack could cut power to cities, shutter banks, and stop the flow of fuel, crippling whole swaths of the country.
"attempts to intervene will be met by an immediate Russian response that "will lead you to such consequences that you have never faced in your history."
(Like Springsteen said on one of his live songs..."Don't touch the dial this is not a test!")
“I'm quite nervous about what is going to happen,” former-Ambassador to the U.N. Social and Economic Council Sarah Mendelson told Yahoo Finance.
“I have said to people we should expect something, and we should not panic if we have a cyberattack,” added Mendelson, who serves as the head of Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College in Washington, D.C.
(It's not going to be an attack, it's going to be an ongoing war.)
“We need to be prepared for the potential of foreign influence operations to negatively impact various aspects of our critical infrastructure with the ongoing Russia-Ukraine geopolitical tensions,” CISA (U.S Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security) Agency Director Jen Easterly said last week ahead of Russia’s invasion.
“There have been some infrastructure-based attacks where [Russia has] been caught breaking into dams and power plants and things like that in the U.S.,” explained NYU Tandon School of Engineering professor Justin Cappos. “It's possible that they're in substantial parts of U.S. infrastructure, and are sort of dormant and have capabilities that they haven't gone and exercised.”
(Possible? They embedded themselves so deep in our infrastructure via the Solar winds attack that we couldn't possibly root them out. Why? For just such a moment as this.)
According to Mendelson, if Russia launches a cyberattack against one of America’s NATO allies, the treaty’s mutual defense guarantee may force America to retaliate.
“[Putin] would like the United States to collapse,” she said. “He would like NATO to collapse. He would like the European Union to collapse. This is quite clear, and it's been clear for some time.”
While the physical attack on Ukraine unfolds, it would take just a few keystrokes for Russia to fire its cyber weapons at the U.S. And while it’s not the same as bullets and bombs, it could still be destructive enough to take out portions of the power grid, putting American lives at risk just the same.
“[Putin] would like the United States to collapse,” she said. “He would like NATO to collapse. He would like the European Union to collapse. This is quite clear, and it's been clear for some time.”
That former-Ambassador to the U.N. Social and Economic Council and current head of Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College in Washington, D.C. Sarah Mendelson knows this but seven defense and intelligence experts missed it in their yahoo interview?
Ought to alarm you.
The world is bracing for a global cyberwar as Russia invades Ukraine
“I think it’s very possible, but I think it’s also important that we reflect on the reality of cyberwar,” John Hultquist, vice president of intelligence analysis at Mandiant, told CNBC.
“It’s easy to hear that term and compare it to real war. But the reality is, most of the cyberattacks we’ve seen have been nonviolent, and largely reversible.”
"most of the cyberattacks we’ve seen"
(A good poker player gonna show you their hand right up front?)
Spillover’
Toby Lewis, head of threat analysis at Darktrace, said the attacks have so far been largely focused on supporting Russia’s physical invasion of Ukraine.
“It is the physical land and territory that Russia appears to seek rather than economic leverage, for which a cyber-first campaign may be more effective,” he told CNBC.
"rather than economic leverage, for which a cyber-first campaign may be more effective"
(That comes next, after the retaliation.)
“We have long theorized that cyberattacks are going to be part of any nation-state’s arsenal and I think what we’re witnessing for the first time frankly in human history is cyberattacks have become the weapon of first strike,” Hitesh Sheth, CEO of Vectra AI, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box Asia” on Friday.
Sheth suggested Russia could launch retaliatory cyberattacks in response to Western sanctions announced earlier this week.
“I would fully expect that, given what we are witnessing with Russia overtly attacking Ukraine with cyberattacks, that they would have covert channels as a way to attack institutions that are being deployed to curtail them in the financial community,” he said.
(the electrical grid and banking sectors...just like somebody was mentioning earlier in the week...)
Either the luckiest SOB to ever live to keep getting so much correct...Or there is an "unseen power worthy of reverence" at play. Your choice.
Choose wisely, eternity is at stake.
Godspeed.
