The question no one is asking (and I pointed this out very early on BTW) is this:

Why did they (Russians) absolutely just demand a NATO pull back to 1997 levels of entrenchment? It's unlike their behavior in the past to flat out just make demands, so why would they do so now? Why would they feel so emboldened to demand such a thing?

Ask yourself this, are you prepared for your bankcard to not work?
