to Nicholas this AM.

Seems in much better spirits.

He said that his friends mother had came and picked him up and that he was home by 12:30 PM today.

I asked if he had called granny and let her know that he wouldn't be there for Sunday dinner, he said that he had.

This age lol. 

On minute it's like they don't have a brain and the next they are the most considerate lil darlings you ever met lol.

Comes with the territory I suppose.

Anyway, I am not going to be to hard on him as I feel that would just make things worse in the long run.

I will however ask him how he would feel if he had taken his child to a concert 90 miles away and then four days later asked for the simplest of favors only to have it refused. 

He knows, he will get my point. 

And don't ever hang up on me, that just ain't gonna fly, period. 

Ask if its okay to go to a friends house for a party before you just go, he knows I would have said okay, and again, ask if its okay if you spend the night, again, of course I would have said okay, it's just a matter of respect really, just ask first. 

15 year old boys don't get to make their own decisions. 

Anyway, given all the changes we are getting ready to endure, seems futile to make the situation worse. There is grass to cut, weed eating to do and gravel to put down. 

I need the help. 

We will see how he reacts.

He was like a fish out of water there for a bit.

Hopefully he has found his way back.

No hanging up the phone though and do what I ask, it's really not that much.

Anyway.

When I come to work this Wed he is coming and spending two weeks with grandma Janet. 

We need the break from each other lol. 

Just happens sometimes. 

Just tired of being Mommy and Daddy all at the same time Lucy. 

Looking forward to your help :-). 

Staying in Louisville to see Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss on Friday at Waterfront Park with James, should be a good time.
