I say I've had enough that's what it means.

I say what I mean and do what I say.

If I say "Honey, that's enough" then that means stop.

It doesn't mean "Oh, one more time just to see if he meant it."

It doesn't mean "Oh, surely he was kidding"

It means fucking stop. 

Now.

Period.

I had a three year old about 12 years ago.

I got a 15 year old that don't like to listen right now.

People who have kids grow tired of repeating themselves.

It seems like it's what we spend our lives doing.

I've done it enough.

Trust me when I tell you, my word should be sufficient and it should be taken at face value.

(unless something is said with a wily grin, smirk on my face etc...then it should be apparent I was being sarcastic.)
