When is the last time you looked at something man-made that was over 150 years old Lucy?
Not really sure how much of it is still original but from the looks of things it would seem at least the arch's are.
It spans the Anderson River in Anderson Township, Perry County and Harrison Township, Spencer County, Indiana. It was built in 1864-1865, and is 148 foot long.
The Lincoln family would buy grains from a grist mill that was located in roughly the same area. Yes, that Lincoln family, a young Abe coming by horseback sometimes.
I've lived here for 15 years.
I never knew it existed till last week :-).
35 miles from home.
