Ephesians 1

Verses Referenced
from other books of the Bible.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (To God’s elect)...who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance. In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
