Well those prophesies didn't come true.

They just wrote the end story to match what they knew was said.

There are the people who will believe eye-witness testimony about an event today 

but refuse to believe eye-witness accounts about events in the past.

Even when things were witnessed by hundreds, 

written and recorded about by historians etc.

They will still tell you:

"Oh they just matched it up."
