Jonah 2:7-9
“When my life was ebbing away,
I remembered you, Lord,
and my prayer rose to you,
to your holy temple.
“Those who cling to worthless idols
turn away from God’s love for them.
But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’”
("Worthless idols" doesn't have to be a golden calf to be worshiped ect.
Anything man made, that man puts between himself and God.
Materialism, consumerism, worldly things ect...)
Jonah 4:4
But the Lord replied,
“Is it right for you to be angry?”
(We already know the answer right?)
