18. Excuse:
"I will take my chances"
Answer: God always has the last word. "Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth there. (Matthew 22:12-13).
Nebuchadnezzar gave this testimony: "...the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will" (Daniel 4:17). And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: none can stay his hand, or say to him, What doest thou?" (Daniel 4:35).
Gods word has eternal force.
Isaiah 55:11

but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
