Shortly

after Secretary of State Pompeo's recent disastrous visit to North Korea, "North Korean state media issued a statement that did not mention him by name but called the demands he presented “gangster-like.”" one of the reasons given was because he didn't bring up drawing down US troop levels in South Korea.

"with Pyongyang dismissing American demands after
two days of negotiations as “cancerous” and “gangster-like.”"

“It appears Trump took his victory lap a tad too soon,” Bruce Klingner, a former Central Intelligence Agency analyst and now an Asia expert at the Heritage Foundation, said in an email. “The diplomatic path remains open, but it will be far bumpier and far longer than the Trump administration had believed and described publicly.”

Remember this?

"Since North and South Korea reopened diplomatic ties in February, Pyongyang has been pushing for a Korean solution to the ongoing crisis on the peninsula, which analysts say is a way of driving a wedge between Seoul and Washington."

You think canceling those military drills between South Korea and the US so abruptly here a lil bit ago helped the US South Korea relationship or started driving a wedge between the two allies?

Remember this visit was arranged quickly and secretively after the summit between The Donald and Kim Jong Un was announced.

You're China.
What do you want to happen
to the 28,000 US troops stationed in South Korea?

This isn't rocket surgery.

Look, I'm sure Kim Jong Un
and Xi Jinping  discussed
a lot of things at this meeting.

I'm also sure chief among them was getting US troops scaled back or totally withdrawn from the Korean peninsula as part of any denuclearization agreement between the US and North Korea. As the events surrounding Secretary of State Pompeo's recent visit to North Korea demonstrate, to think otherwise is simply pure foolishness on our part.

Revelation 7:1

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
