God belongs all glory right?
Mom and I were watching a movie the other day.
This young lady's character was a singer/pianist.
She had written songs, was offered a contract she turned down, etc.
The last song she sang made a great point
in that she saw her works
she did for Christ (Volunteering, singing, playing music) as a painting,
a masterpiece just like a Rembrandt, a Picasso, whomever,
and that she was just the brush just doing what she was supposed to be doing.
Do we give the brush credit for the masterpieces they create?
Or do we give it to the rightful owners?
We all know the right answer.
In her example?
Christ or God would be the Master, and she?
She would be the brush.
Just proud to be a brush too I guess is what I'm trying to say.
In all I've written,
if I just made a couple people stop and say to themselves:
"You know, maybe he's right, he does bring up some good points."
If I did just that?
I would consider everything I've done worthwhile and a success.
Peace.
It's all I want for myself, and everybody else.
Love you Lucy.
