Apostles’ Creed

Traditional Version

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;*
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic** church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

If they are all from God?
Why would they not be considered infallible?

I love that we say The Apostoles Creed every Sunday.
I say it without hesitation as it boils down all the major constructs of my faith into a couple of simple paragraphs. It reminds me every week, exactly what it is we as Christians believe.

Christians forget.
It's okay to disagree.
It's okay to disagree on a lot.
Thats why it's not a religion but a personal relationship.

But whats said in the Apostles Creed?
There can be no disagreement on.
None.

Like I said, I say it every Sunday, without hesitation.

It's what I truly believe.
