1 Corinthians 14:1-5

Intelligibility in Worship

Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages

in·tel·li·gi·bil·i·ty /inˌteləjəˈbilədē/ noun

"the state or quality of being intelligible."

"being able to see a speaker can improve intelligibility"

Similar:

lack of ambiguity (Reference: "Every generation has its revelation." for a definition of ambiguity.) unambiguity.

14 Follow the way of love

(Love disciplines, love corrects.)

and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit

especially prophecy.

(It is the only spiritual gift Paul says to "especially" desire. You'll see why here in a second.)

2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. 4 Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I would like every one of you to speak in tongues,[b] but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues,[c] unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

(Edified = Built up

Definitions from Oxford Languages

ed·i·fy

/ˈedəˌfī/

verb formal

past tense: edified; past participle: edified

instruct or improve (someone) morally or intellectually.

"Rachel had edified their childhood with frequent readings from Belloc"

Similar: educate, instruct, teach, school, tutor,

coach, train, guide, enlighten, inform, cultivate

develop, inculcate, indoctrinate, improve, better,

uplift, elevate.

So here is a really simple question:

WHAT ENTITY

DO YOU THINK

DOESNT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN?

Cause its not a person.

Here is another question for you:

Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things?

If God be for us, who can be against us?

These are really really simple questions.

Reference: "Ease of understanding",

"simplicity" above.

And people know the answers.

Yes they do.

Isaiah 54:17

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

(Prophets, and scripture says its only SOME.)

p.s.

Come explain to me both:

"The Futurist Interpretation"

and

The "Historical Alternative."

Of Daniels seventy weeks

Im all ears.

My interpretation blends

parts of both of those BTW.

"End times" and "The Tribulation"

are not interchangeable terms.

Even though they have come to be used as such.

If you look back through my writings you will notice that a lil while ago I started referring to the time we are entering into as

"The last of Daniels 70 sevens."

The Tribulation.

End times started

with the church age

which started with Christ ascension

into Heaven.

Why is that?

Because now it takes

FAITH

to believe in him.

Hes not here physically any more.

"comprehensibility, ease of understanding, accessibility, digestibility,  user friendliness, lucidity, lucidness, clarity, clearness, coherence, transparency, plainness,  simplicity, perspicuity, explicitness, precision, lack of ambiguity  unambiguity."

again if you need to.

Respond accordingly.

I love everybody I really do and I pray for everybody at my church, and a whole host of others.

We need to recognize events for what they so obviously are.

Somebody said
over and over:

"We get heaven on earth
for telling you hell
is comin."

People wanna deny that's happening to?

Cause Rev 17:8-11 coming true righ in front of our eyes and

"We get heaven on earth

for telling you hell

is comin."

Are intrinsically related.

 (an essential or natural way).

They are two parts of the same whole.

Like I said:

Respond accordingly.

"If God be for us,

(which he so obviously is,
he is proving it to you,
right to your face.)

who can be against us?"

Hum?

Who?
