I told you that 40 people or so,
who could not communicate with each other,
(in most instances).
Over the course of 1600 years?
Manufactured a lie that people are still willing to die for?
Well?
What would a rational person think about that? :-)
(The bible was written over the course of about 1600 years by about 40 people.)
Three was no internet.
There was no mail routes.
There weren't highways and automobiles.
People didn't take off walking in the desert to share the scrolls they had just written.
Only a few could read or write to begin with.
Even of those who could?
They didn't have easy access to parchment, paper, leather, ink, pens, scrolls etc.
The prophets in particular were writing about one event,
without knowing that others were doing the same,
or had done the same,
or would be doing the same.
Then?
They were fulfilled.
The odds of two people talking about one event and and have it come true?
Staggering.
There are just to many.
By to many people.
Over the course of to many years.
For it to all just be false.
That?
In my opinion?
Would be a rational judgement :-).
I mean come on people.
Put three people in a room and tell them not to tell anybody something you just told them
and before two of them get home they already have.
Love you Lucy.
