in the world would anyone believe that Jesus defeated death, but as the end times approach were not going to see the supernatural in play?
That just doesn't make any sense to me.
If you don't honestly believe he was supernaturally resurrected from the dead?
Then how will you ever be?
Acts 2:19
"I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below..."
Hebrews 2:4
"God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,
and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will."
(My Bible :-).
I think the putting together of the verses in Revelation, saying what I am about Vegas and the finding of that bible caught some people off guard Lucy.
We aint even started yet sweetheart :-).
Nominal Christians?
Ones in name only?
Decision time.
Here's the deal.
If you were in church the week you were born?
From then on you never missed.
You went every time they opened the doors.
You were baptized.
Went to Sunday School.
Taught Sunday School.
Prayed all the time.
Did good work.
Did all of this all your life.
But if you don't honestly believe he conquered death?
You went cause you thought you were supposed to
or because your family did
or because it made you feel good.
or it just seemed like the right thing to do
or because it was a social gathering
or for whatever reason
you went
all your life?
If you don't honestly believe he was the son of God
sent to die for your sins,
to pay the price so you wouldn't have to?
It won't work for you.
The supernatural is coming back.
The easiest way to get a revival going is through "miracles signs and wonders"
(Thanks Crowder :-).
It why the church took off like wildfire when it did.
People saw and were seeing.
It's going to happen again.
Only on a much larger scale.
It will spread like wildfire.
The end times is the church glory days.
We get to reap the harvest that has been set before us since the old days.
