Revelation 3:14-22

To the Church in Laodicea

Revelation 3:18

"I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see."

 

Reminded me of:

Isaiah 48:10-11 

See, I have refined you, though not as silver;

    I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this.

    How can I let myself be defamed?

    I will not yield my glory to another.

and:

John 9:6-7 

After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). 

So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
