To the Church in Laodicea

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

"These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked."

False church.

Not just written for them during their times but for us as well during todays times.

This church is wishy washy.

It's trying to be all things to all people.

Trying hard as to not to offend anyone.

Trying to server God and the world and failing at both.

Compromising because they desire wealth.

"If you're not serving the Lord Jesus Christ?

You are rescinding him."

"The entire Bible is a book of revelation, not just one of its books."

Verse fourteen:

 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation."

Is the only time in the bible the word Amen is used as a proper name. 

(Meaning ‘so be it.’)
