Hypersonic etc

(Quotes from the articles are posted above the links to the accompanying articles. Notes not in quotes are my comments.)

"The technology also has great potential for enhancing weapons capabilities. In April, a hypersonic weapon test by the U.S. Air Force ended in failure. By contrast, China sent a hypersonic missile into orbit in October using technologies that reportedly mystified U.S. officials."

A New Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Will Put China '20 to 30 Years Ahead' of the West

"we have no idea how they did this" said one us official."

We have capabilities, but right now we are behind the Russians and the Chinese

US Military Successfully Tests Its Hypersonic Cruise Missile

"The Month Of Hypersonic Tech Success

"On November 21, Global Times reported that China’s one-meter-class hypersonic aerodynamic wind tunnel, called the FL-64, passed major calibration tests. The tunnel was made by the Aerodynamics Research Institute under the state-owned Aviation Industry Corp of China (AVIC).

Its objective is to serve China’s aerospace strategy and support the development of hypersonic weapons and equipment. The tunnel’s success in the tests implies that the facility is officially capable of conducting tests for future projects.

"More recently, it was reported that a team of Chinese scientists has developed and tested a prototype hypersonic flight engine that is based on a design that was prepared by a Chinese-born US scientist around 20 years ago and was rejected by NASA. The scientist, Min Han Tang, had proposed the Two-Stage Vehicle (TSV) X-plane.'

A ‘Miracle’ Engine

"The scientists behind the creation of the new hypersonic engine believe that it will help China quicken the pace of large-scale production of hypersonic weapons at a relatively low cost. The manufacturing process will not only lower expenses but will also be able to maintain high quality and performance.

The team also noted that the new manufacturing method allows them to make titanium alloy components. A laboratory test, as well as trials outside of labs, have found that titanium alloy components perform far better than those made using traditional methods.

These components can go “straight from the furnace to the engine assembly line without further processing”"

Big Boost To China’s Hypersonic Technology; Engineers ‘Crack Codes’ Of A Highly Innovative, ‘Miracle’ Engine?

"A statement from US Space Force Lieutenant General Chance Saltzman, the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations, Cyber, and Nuclear during an event, giving a new twist to China’s hypersonic weapon capabilities.

"The Chinese hypersonic weapon, according to Saltzman, has an orbital character, meaning it may stay in orbit indefinitely unless the user decides to deorbit it. This is the most recent piece of official information on this unique technology, which apparently employs a hypersonic glider capable of launching its own projectile in order to carry out a strike."

China Can Station, Launch Nuclear Missiles From Space Without Fear Of Being Intercepted – US Official Suggests

After China’s ‘Hypersonic’ Test, US Alarm And Many Unanswered Questions

"In an exclusive interview with CBS News, General John Hyten, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the No. 2 person in the U.S. military, revealed new details of last summer's Chinese hypersonic weapons test, which sent a missile around the world at more than five times the speed of sound.

"They launched a long-range missile," Hyten told CBS News.  "It went around the world, dropped off a hypersonic glide vehicle that glided all the way back to China, that impacted a target in China."  Asked if it hit the target, Hyten replied, "Close enough."

"The U.S. is developing its own hypersonic weapons — but not as quickly as China.  Hyten told CBS News that in the last five years, China has carried out hundreds of hypersonic tests, while the U.S. has conducted just nine.  China has already deployed one medium-range hypersonic weapon, while the U.S. is still a few years from fielding its first one, according to Hyten."

"Chinese scientists say they have developed next-generation hypersonic weapons with technical breakthroughs in infrared homing technology – which the US military may not have until 2025.

Heat-seeking capability allows Chinese hypersonic missiles to home in on almost any target – including stealth aircraft, aircraft carriers and moving vehicles on the street – with unprecedented accuracy and speed, according to the researchers."

With effective hypersonic precision strike weapons, the critical value of "strtegic depth"in traditional warfare will no longer exist. all the critical political, economic and military assets of a country will be at risk."

China says it has hypersonic missiles with heat-seeking tech – years before US

Not only do we not have this capability? We don't even have the capability to even do the testing necessary to get it.

"Named the JF-22, the wind tunnel located in the Huairou District in northern Beijing would be able to simulate flights of up to 10 kilometers per second or 30 times the speed of sound, making it the fastest in the world. To recreate such flight conditions, the JF-22 would produce 15 gigawatts or 70% of the power generated by the Three Gorges Dam.

(This wind tunnel would need to produce 70 % of the power that could be generated by the dam pictured above.)

"Unlike most other existing facilities which use mechanical compressors to generate high-speed airflow, the 265-meter-long wind tunnel relies on chemical explosions. It will offer an operating time of 130 milliseconds per test, over 4 times longer than the US equivalent LENS II.

"Being in possession of the two facilities will put China “about 20 to 30 years ahead” of its competitors, Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher Han Guilai claimed in an online lecture quoted by the South China Morning Post."

"The Chinese military already fielded several hypersonic weapons, such as the DF-17 and DF-21 ballistic missiles. Russia with the Zircon and Kinzhal missiles has also been at the vanguard of hypersonic weapon development."

China to inaugurate “world’s fastest” hypersonic wind tunnel

My buddy's step son was telling us last week how International Harvester faltered as a company because they believed their products were so far above everybody else's that no one could ever catch them. This family collects their tractors and other products etc and he has an extensive knowlege of that company. In short, their executives arrogance led to their companies demise to due a failure to invest in research and development.

How is that any different from our country deciding not to invest in Hypersonic technologies years ago when other countries already were? We just never believed it would amount to anything (Hypersonic technologies).

Opps.

What were the sins of your sister Sodom again?

Ezekiel 16:49...

“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned

Reminds me of:

Daniel 2:40-43

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

What we've been doing to others can now be done to us basically. And it was our country's arrogance and greed that got us to this point.

My barber buddy brought up a good point, "But what can I do about it?" Nothing...but rejoice...like Brother Brian said, "this is the time that the prophets of old wanted to see but didn't."

My contention is simply this: If you know whats coming? It's easier to prepare for it, psychologically, spiritually, etc.

To use a football analogy, you don't have your defense prepare for a wishbone offense when your next opponent runs four and five wide receiver sets with their offense. If you do? You might get caught a lil off guard.

It's a post tribulation rapture or I wouldn't have been showing you whats going to be expected of true believers when the time comes. Just trying to minimize the shock value when things do happen, thats all. Pretty simple stuff really.

I love you honey.
