Biden Team Goes into Recession Denial

"There's a curious trend in economic journalism lately, contending that Americans are just too pessimistic, and that most Americans are doing much better than they are willing to admit."

(No kidding, really? I wonder why?

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

 The Day of the Lord

For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.)

Fed to Inflict More Pain on Economy as It Readies Big Rate Hike

"Fed policy makers have already pushed back on that narrative, pointing to the strength of the job market. "It's really odd to think of an economy where you add 2.5 million workers and output goes down," Fed Governor Christopher Waller said on July 7, while stressing his determination to lower inflation to 2%.

(Like I said, were adding jobs alright, because everybody needs three or four to try and keep up :-)

NASA satellite images show how much Lake Mead has receded since 2000

"According to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, water levels dropped to 1,041 feet. Water levels need to stay above 1,000 feet to continue operating hydropower turbines at the dam at optimal levels.

(Excerpt taken from an article published by "The Hill".)

U.S. to sell additional 20 million barrels of oil from strategic reserve

"The United States will take bids in autumn to begin the process of buying back 60 million barrels of crude for reserve, a first step in replenishing the stockpile after the 180 million barrel release, the Department of Energy said in May. read more"

"The department will soon propose a rule to help put oil back into the SPR, where levels have sunk to 475.5 million barrels, the lowest since June 1985, by allowing it to enter forward contracts to purchase oil in future years at fixed, preset prices."

"Oil purchases to replenish the SPR will not be competing with demand for oil in the near term as they will likely take place after fiscal year 2023, an official told reporters."

(The whole thing is a big mistake right now and plays right into our adversaries hands.)

Goldman Strategists See Inflation Keeping Fed Hawkish for Longer

"While Morgan Stanley strategists say it's too early to expect the Fed to stop tightening its policy even as fears of a recession grow -- suggesting stocks have more room to fall before finding a bottom, JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists say bets that inflation has peaked will lead to a Fed pivot and improve the picture for equities in the second half."

"The rainfalls there (St Louis) and in Kentucky have less than a 1 in 1,000 chance of happening in a given year.

Human-caused climate change has spurred extreme precipitation events to increase significantly in the past century. Heavy rainfall is now roughly 20 to 40 percent more likely in eastern Kentucky.

These people...My Goodness

GDP fell 0.9% in the second quarter, the second straight decline and a strong recession signal

"A strong recession signal"?

"Most economists don’t expect the NBER to declare an official recession, despite the consecutive quarters of negative growth. Since 1948, the economy has never seen consecutive quarterly growth declines without being in a recession.

The feeling, though, on Wall Street is that the economy could well hit recession later this year or in 2023 but is not in one now.

That may not be enough to change public perception, however. A Morning Consult/Politico poll earlier this month indicated that 65% of registered voters, including 78% of Republicans, think the economy already is in a recession."

I had to go to the second page on my news feed to find any story saying anything about todays GDP #s.

If that doesn't tell you something I don't know what will.

A strong recession signal?

My ass.

Every other time this has ever happened?

It's been called what it is, a recession, not a signal.

My questions are these:

What would the numbers have been if we hadn't been releasing a million barrels of oil a day from the strategic reserve since March?

Our short sightedness is leading us right into the trap Russia and China have set for us.

My other question is:

Why were todays GDP number buried deep in the second page of my news feed?

Even then it was only the second part of a story about yesterdays Fed interest rate hike.

Why?

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

The Day of the Lord

…For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.…

I know I sound like a broken record but you just have to understand what is going on right in front of your eyes.

You are witnessing that happen right now, right in front of you.

The people selling this nonsense are the false prophets spoke of in Matthew 24:11

Oh and by the time 4.5% interest rates get here? it will fix 9.1% inflation even though going back to 1954 we have never been able to lower inflation without the interest rate being higher than the rate of inflation.

But this time is different for some reason.

I wonder why?

Matthew 24:21

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth doesn't equal a recession and eventual 4.5% interest rates will cure 9.1% inflation even though historically that has just never happened.

The fact of the matter is this:

The longer you have artificially low interest rates?

The worst the recession will be when it really gets going and we have never had interest rates this low for this long, so figure it out what's about to happen.

Keep in mins todays GDP #'s are just preliminary, in a lil while we will get the adjusted #'s , and then even later we will get the final second quarter GDP#s.

Those stories will be on the front page I'm sure

Things are being controlled and manipulated so that you wont know what's really going on.

It's just so obvious...

I love you honey :-).

Bugs and kisses baby.

I

Hypersonic missiles? Good luck, everyone.

said it a while back.

"We are the biggest sitting duck you've ever seen."

Something like that.

Aircraft carriers?

Large chunks of floating iron for target practice.

Missle defense systems?

Irrelevant, they (Hypersonics) are so fast we cant even track them.

Stealth?

Irrelevant the heat signature such aircraft give off makes them a perfect target for heat seaking hypersonics. Stealth was designed to avoid enemy radars, it was never meant to avoid heat seaking missles that travel 5x the speed of sound.

Good luck everyone indeed.

Christ is your only hope out of the worlds current situation.

Period.

I'd get my soul right if I was you.

Eternity is an awfully long time.

Well...

who would have thunk it?

Aluminum Prices Plummet Despite Ongoing Supply Disruptions

"In fact, Europe’s anxiety over gas supplies remains so high that it’s already beginning to unravel the previously robust and unified response to the war in Ukraine. As self-interest begins to overcome outrage at Russia’s unprovoked attack, differences in opinion are starting to wedge gaps between states."

(Kinda was the game plan ya think?

Was part of the calculus maybe?

Freeze to death or do things how we want basically.)

Grand Rising Massive

My Sunshine.

I've been busy honey.

I know you have too.

I love you sweetheart.

TTYS baby.

Old phone is finished :-).

I think I got my $35 out of it.

Frugal much?

:-).

You betcha.

Lots of people have a misunderstanding of that word seems like.

Doesn't mean cheap.

Means getting the most ot of things.

Including your time.

Anyway, pretty exhausted honey.

Oh and BTW?

The fed crashes the housing market today.

A .75 rate increase pushes the federal funds rate to the range of 2.25 - 2.5%.

Talked about this a long time ago seems like.

I love you.

just take my word for it.

Can the US catch China’s hypersonic missiles?

"Hypersonic weapons are highly maneuverable and extremely fast"

"It's been almost one year since China surprised the Pentagon and the world by carrying out a hypersonic glide vehicle test that traveled around the world and landed just two dozen miles from its target."

"The significance was it scared the hell out of everybody," Sen. Angus King told Fox News. "If the thing is dwelling over Kansas City, you're talking you're reducing 15 to 20 minutes to two to three minutes. That's a qualitative change."

"Some officials in the Pentagon described it as a "Sputnik" moment because the Chinese leapfrogged the U.S. with a technology that could evade billions of dollars of missile defense, setting off an arms race.

"Hypersonic weapons fly at speeds of at least Mach 5, are highly maneuverable, are able to change course during flight and can fly 100 feet above the ocean undetected."

"We're probably, I think, five years behind in terms of where the Chinese are," King said."

"Frankly, the Chinese and the Russians just plain got ahead of us," King said. "If our strategy in the Pacific is based upon aircraft carriers, and an aircraft carrier is vulnerable to a 6,000-mile-an-hour missile, we're in trouble."

(Oh were in trouble alright.)

"But, on Tuesday, just days after the failed test announcement, the Pentagon made it a point to announce two recent successful hypersonic tests."

(Does that strike anybody else as a lil odd? That just days after a failed test the pentagon announces two successful ones?")

"Russian scientists mocked the failed U.S. hypersonic glide vehicle test last week, saying the U.S. design model for hypersonic weapons is "too complex."

"Technological developments often determine the outcome of conflict," King said. "And hypersonic, to me, are the game-changing strategic difference in any future conflict that this country is engaged in. And we're behind."

Here is the thing,

were not going to be allowed to catch up.

Were just not.

Godspeed everybody.

I love you baby.

How

could you not see that one coming?

Been saying it was gonna happen for a while now.

Russia’s Gazprom says cannot guarantee gas supply to EU buyers

"The Russian state gas monopoly said in a letter dated July 14 that it was retroactively declaring force majeure on supplies from June 14. The news comes as Nord Stream 1 (NS1), the key pipeline delivering Russian gas to Germany and beyond, is undergoing 10 days of annual maintenance scheduled to conclude on Thursday."

"Known as an “act of God” clause, force majeure is standard in business contracts and defines extreme circumstances that release a party from their legal obligations. The declaration does not necessarily mean that Gazprom will stop deliveries, rather that it should not be held responsible if it fails to meet contract terms."

“This sounds like a first hint that the gas supplies via NS1 will possibly not resume after the 10-day maintenance has ended,” said Hans van Cleef, senior energy economist at ABN Amro."

Etc., etc, etc...

You'd be wise to listen...just sayin...

FYI , a three pat series on AI, The original part 3 which somehow became part 3

Does this AI know it’s alive?

"A Google engineer became convinced a large language model had become sentient and touched off a debate about how we should think about artificial intelligence."

"The transcript Tiku includes in her article is genuinely eerie; LaMDA  ( Language Model for Dialogue Applications) expresses a deep fear of being turned off by engineers, develops a theory of the difference between “emotions” and “feelings” (“Feelings are kind of the raw data … Emotions are a reaction to those raw data points”), and expresses surprisingly eloquently the way it experiences “time.”

(Daniel 7:7-8, 25

Daniel 7:7-8

“After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

“While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully.

Daniel 7:25

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.

Interesting to me that it (LaMDA) "expresses surprisingly eloquently", the way it what? The way it experiences time. Yeah...spacetime kinda a lil wired sometimes...I'll leave it at that.)

"The best take I found was from philosopher Regina Rini, who, like me, felt a great deal of sympathy for Lemoine. I don’t know when — in 1,000 years, or 100, or 50, or 10 — an AI system will become conscious. But like Rini, I see no reason to believe it’s impossible."

(It already has and not only that?

"Ray Kurzweil, a prominent computer scientist and futurist, has long promoted the “Singularity,” which is the notion that AI will eventually outsmart humanity, and that humans could ultimately merge with the tech." They already have and they're already here. We are 40 years behind where we are being told we are (Thank you Billy Crone, the coming AI invasion)  Why Silicon Valley is fertile ground for obscure religious beliefs. Sorry I had to quote from the other article but they are already here and have been for a minute.)

Unless you want to insist human consciousness resides in an immaterial soul, you ought to concede that it is possible for matter to give life to mind,” Rini notes.

(You betcha I "want to insist human consciousness resides in an immaterial soul" and here is why:

Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Morally, Spiritually and intellectually, he created him in his image, no other animal or plant has such a distinction. A plant or a deer or a tiger does not ask itself if what it is doing is right or wrong, they are not capable of looking up at the stars and thinking to themselves, "How did those get there? How did I get here etc.? Only man is capable of profound meditative thought. Ya might wanna think about why that is. It places us above the plant and animal kingdoms and proves genesis 1:27 100% absolutely true. What is your answer to why we are the only species capable of those types of thoughts? What's your explanation other than God created us in his own image? What do you quote from to prove your points etc.? ...Just on and on and on. It's a moot point. Genesis 1:27 ends all debate. This is the major stumbling block for all the worlds most prominent atheist throughout time. None can explain why man was placed above the plant and animal kingdoms butthe book of truth from beyond our time space continuum does.

"We don’t have sentient AI, but we could get super-powerful AI"

"The Google LaMDA story arrived after a week of increasingly urgent alarm among people in the closely related AI safety universe. The worry here is similar to Lemoine’s, but distinct. AI safety folks don’t worry that AI will become sentient. They worry it will become so powerful that it could destroy the world.

(Close,

"...become so powerful that it could destroy the world..."

but not quite:

Matthew 24:15-22

“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ (Daniel 12:11 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) The Antichrist projecting his image on the temple, calling himself God and demanding to be worshipped that is, ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ Anybody that wants to talk to you about end time events and doesn't mention it? Might just be doing so on purpose, think about it for a second, you'll figure it out, do not be deceived means, know what's being conveyed by what is being left out as well as what is actually being said. Why would somebody leave that out of their explanation of end times events unless they were expressly doing so on purpose? Okay back to scripturespoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—...For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. (It's a one time event for a reason, after the Antichrist causes "the abonimation that causes desolation?" The second half of the seven year Tribulation starts and that is "The great tribulation." within which we find:

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

So,

Super powerful AI will not destroy the world, but it sure will come close.

So what happens then?

Revelation 16:13-17

Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. (Thats your satanic trinity right there, The Dragon, The Beast and the False Prophet. And where did the impure spirits come from? Out of their mouths. Why all the hubbub at Google about AI and language again?) They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed. ” Then they (The satanic spirits from the mouths of the satanic trinity) gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

(And your God is so great, so powerful, so all-knowing, that he uses them for his own purpose:

"...to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty..."

"...gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon..."

Israel's (Gods people) foes have her/are surrounded and all the armies of the world have come together to conqueror her/them. Only one problem:

2 Thessalonians 2:8

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, (The antichrist) whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:..."

Two things I really love about that verse:

1) What comes out of the Lords mouth is more powerful than what comes out of all three  components of the Satanic trinities mouths and:

2)The Glory of the lord alone is good enough to defeat Satan and his henchmen. Tell me again about how God needs your help to set up his Kingdom again? Trust me he doesn't. His brightness alone is sufficient enough to destroy evil.

Then what?...

Well...

Then comes:

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!”.

The whole point being:

"Super powerful AI will not destroy the world, but it will come close."

Okay back to the article:)

"If an AI can do the work of a present-day tech worker or quant trader, for instance, a lab of millions of such AIs could quickly accumulate billions if not trillions of dollars, use that money to buy off skeptical humans, and, well, the rest is a Terminator movie."

"There are quite eminent AI researchers, like Ilya Sutskever or Stuart Russell, who consider artificial general intelligence likely, and likely hazardous to human civilization."

(No kidding? Really? China has autonomous systems designing their own weapons systems right now. Right now! So this sounds like a great idea? Point is, you don't have to be an eminent AI researcher to figure all out where all this is headed.)

"The same problem arises, I’ve noticed, when I try to make the case for concern about AGI to unconvinced friends. If you say things like, “the AI will decide to bribe people so it can survive,” it turns them off. AIs don’t decide things, they respond. They do what humans tell them to do. Why are you anthropomorphizing (Turning it into a person in your mind, giving it human characteristics, etc) this thing?"

"What wins people over is talking about the consequences systems have. So instead of saying, “the AI will start hoarding resources to stay alive,” I’ll say something like, AIs have decisively replaced humans when it comes to recommending music and movies. They have replaced humans in making bail decisions. They will take on greater and greater tasks, and Google and Facebook and the other people running them are not remotely prepared to analyze the subtle mistakes they’ll make, the subtle ways they’ll differ from human wishes. Those mistakes will grow and grow until one day they could kill us all.”

I disagree with:

"Google and Facebook and the other people running them are not remotely prepared to analyze the subtle mistakes they’ll make, the subtle ways they’ll differ from human wishes. Those mistakes will grow and grow until one day they could kill us all.”

(Given what has transpired at Google in it's AI department lately? With two leaders in the field fired, and a senior engineer on administrative leave and a paper about AI and a Large Language Model having been edited by their legal team? One might rationalize they have already analyzed their not so subtle mistakes and are taking what they perceive to be the necessary appropriate steps, and we've already covered the they're not gonna kill us all but it will be close thing)

"...unfortunate divide that has emerged between the AI bias community and the AI existential risk community.

At the root, I think these communities are trying to do the same thing: build AI that reflects authentic human needs, not a poor approximation of human needs built for short-term corporate profit.

(Yeah well...

"Build AI that reflects authentic human needs, not a poor approximation of human needs built for short-term corporate profit.

Good luck with that.)

"And it’s a problem I think people on the AI risk side...have a chance to correct by drawing these connections, and making it clear that alignment is a near- as well as a long-term problem.

(It's not near, it's already been here for a while, and if google didn't know or think it was a problem? Why then all the commotion in their AI research department? Particularly as it relates to Large Language Models which I feel has been shown to be a part of end time events playing out, the Antichrist eloquence, out of the mouths of the satanic trinity come evil spirits etc...)

I love you baby :-).

Yea!

I'm done with this three part series :-).

Now I know why I put it off so long for :-).

Good Afternoon

Look out

Russia regroups its Black Sea fleet Pivden (South) Operational Command

What I had initially read said they were moving four submarines into the Black Sea. In any event, its not good news.

"OLHA HLUSHCHENKO — THURSDAY, 14 JULY  2022, 02:18

In the Black Sea, near the Ukrainian coast, Russia has once again regrouped the ships in its Black Sea fleet.

Source: Pivden (South) Operational Command on Facebook

Quote: "The enemy fleet has once again been regrouped.

Currently, there are 3 missile ships and 2 [missile-carrying - ed.] submarines in the waters of the Black Sea.

Their total array comprises 32 Kalibr cruise missiles, which pose a threat for the entire territory of Ukraine.

Additionally, there are 2 [Russian - ed.] dock landing ships [in the waters of the Black Sea - ed.]."

Background:

On 6 June, it was reported that two Russian missile ships and a submarine (with a total array of 20 Kalibr cruise missiles) were on standby in the Black Sea.

On 4 June, it became known that a flotilla of five large landing ships gathered from the Russian Navy’s three fleets had departed for the Black Sea.

On 12 June, Russia added two large landing ships to reinforce its presence in the Black Sea near the Ukrainian coast."

FYI, A three part series on AI Pt 2, which was Supposed to have been Pt 3 etc...

This was supposed to be part three but I entirely screwed it up and now it's part 2. Hopefully someday I get back to redoing the original part 2. There is an entity at play that does not want you to know what I was writing in the original part 2. But anyway, on with this version for now...

Google to change research process after uproar over scientists' firing

"Exits of Timnit Gebru and Margaret Mitchell sparked backlash from inside and outside the company."

(I remember reading this article when it first appeared. It's one of those ones that had a screen shot floating around for so long that never got a post written about it so it finally got deleted. When I first read it I was all onboard with the Gender/racism angel of the story. But now combine these earlier events with Blake Lemonie's claim of AI and in particular LaMDA going sentient and things all the sudden appear in a new light.)

"Google will change procedures before July for reviewing its scientists’ work, according to a town hall recording heard by Reuters, part of an effort to quell internal tumult over the integrity of its artificial intelligence (AI) research."

(Okay, so why do this then?)

"In remarks at a staff meeting last Friday, Google Research executives said they were working to regain trust after the company ousted two prominent women and rejected their work, according to an hour-long recording, the content of which was confirmed by two sources."

(The article is over a year old, but why all the turmoil?)

"Internal reviewers had demanded that at least three papers on AI be modified to refrain from casting Google technology in a negative light, Reuters reported."

"Jeff Dean, Google’s senior vice-president overseeing the division, said on Friday that the “sensitive topics” review “is and was confusing” and that he had tasked a senior research director, Zoubin Ghahramani, with clarifying the rules, according to the recording."

(Yeah...okay...sure thing)

"An internal email, seen by Reuters, offered fresh detail on Google researchers’ concerns, showing exactly how Google’s legal department had modified one of the three AI papers, called Extracting Training Data from Large Language Models."

(Remember that "Extracting Training Data from Large Language Models." That is 100% critical. I'll show you why here in a second. And please remember that the AI Blake Lemoine said was sentient was LaMDA or “Language Model for Dialogue Applications”)

"The email, dated 8 February, from a co-author of the paper, Nicholas Carlini, went to hundreds of colleagues, seeking to draw their attention to what he called “deeply insidious” edits by company lawyers."

“Let’s be clear here,” the roughly 1,200-word email said. “When we as academics write that we have a ‘concern’ or find something ‘worrying’ and a Google lawyer requires that we change it to sound nicer, this is very much Big Brother stepping in.”

(Again why? Whats so worrying Google to the point where they feel their lawyers have to step in and edit what its researchers are saying?)

"Required edits, according to his email, included “negative-to-neutral” swaps such as changing the word “concerns” to “considerations,” and “dangers” to “risks”. Lawyers also required deleting references to Google technology; the authors’ finding that AI leaked copyrighted content; and the words “breach” and “sensitive”, the email said.

Carlini did not respond to requests for comment. Google, in answer to questions about the email, disputed its contention that lawyers were trying to control the paper’s tone. The company said it had no issues with the topics investigated by the paper, but it found some legal terms used inaccurately and conducted a thorough edit as a result."

(Okay...yeah sure...right...:-). Thats sarcasim BTW. These were the people whose motto for the longest was "Dont be evil?)

"Racial equity audit

Google last week also named Marian Croak, a pioneer in internet audio technology and one of Google’s few Black vice-presidents, to consolidate and manage 10 teams studying issues such as racial bias in algorithms and technology for disabled individuals.

Croak said at Friday’s meeting that it would take time to address concerns among AI ethics researchers and mitigate damage to Google’s brand. “Please hold me fully responsible for trying to turn around that situation,” she said on the recording."

(There is your diversion, that is not what all the fervor was about I assure you)

"Tensions in Dean’s division had deepened in December after Google fired Timnit Gebru, co-lead of its ethical AI research team, following her refusal to retract a paper on language-generating AI. Gebru, who is Black, accused the company at the time of reviewing her work differently because of her identity and of marginalizing employees from underrepresented backgrounds. Nearly 2,700 employees signed an open letter in support of Gebru.

(Why is it always about language-generating AI? It's not about her being black, or her Gender it's everything to do with what she was saying in her paper that she refused to retract.)

“We want responsible AI and ethical AI investigations,” Dean said, giving the example of studying technology’s environmental costs.

(Thats why they got the lawyers editing things, they want  "responsible AI and ethical AI investigations", makes prefect sense.

"Gebru defended her paper’s citation. “It’s a really bad look for Google to come out this defensively against a paper that was cited by so many of their peer institutions,” she told Reuters.

"Employees continued to post about their frustrations over the last month on Twitter as Google investigated and then fired Margaret Mitchell, an ethical AI co-lead, for moving electronic files outside the company. Mitchell said on Twitter that she had acted “to raise concerns about race & gender inequity, and speak up about Google’s problematic firing of Dr Gebru”.

"Mitchell had collaborated on the paper that prompted Gebru’s departure, and a version that published online last month without Google affiliation named “Shmargaret Shmitchell” as a co-author."

"Asked for comment, Mitchell expressed through an attorney disappointment in Dean’s critique of the paper and said her name was removed following a company order."

Okay, follow the bouncing ball.

So far we have the following facts in front of us:

Blake LeMoine

(Currently on administrative leave from google, and will probably end up terminated from his position with the company would be my guess)

He is a senior software engineer and AI researcher. His research focuses on artificial ethics and natural language processing The AI Blake Lemoine said was sentient was LaMDA or “Language Model for Dialogue Applications”

Dr.Timnit Gebru,

Terminated co-lead of its (Googles) ethical AI research team, following her refusal to retract a paper on language-generating AI

and

Margaret Mitchell,

an ethical AI co-lead

Terminated, had worked on Dr. GeBru's research paper.

And:

"Google’s legal department had modified one of the three AI papers, called Extracting Training Data from Large Language Models."

My contention is, It's not the racial/gender biases AI demonstrates in these papers that the lawyers are worried about.

It's this:

6 Answers to Questions About the Antichrist

"Question #

2. How will he unite the nations?

The prophet Daniel describes the Antichrist in these terms: “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast…. And there... were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.... He shall speak pompous words against the Most High” (Daniel 7:7-8, 25)."

"The coming world leader will be renowned for his eloquence, which will capture the attention and administration of the world."

"As Daniel says, the coming world leader will be renowned for this kind of eloquence, which will capture the attention and administration of the world."

"Daniel goes on to tell us that not only will this golden-tongued orator speak in high-blown terms, but he will also speak arrogantly against God. The apostle John describes him similarly in the book of Revelation: “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies” (Revelation 13:5)."

"Daniel continues his description of the Antichrist by telling us he is a man “whose appearance was greater than his fellows” (Daniel 7:20). In terms of his outward appearance, this man will be strikingly attractive. The combination of his magnetic personality, speaking ability, and extreme good looks will make him virtually irresistible to the masses. The apostle John expands on Daniel’s description of the Antichrist’s blasphemous acts by telling us that every living person will be required to worship this man. “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as man as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Revelation 13:15)."

"The combination of his magnetic personality, speaking ability, and extreme good looks will make him virtually irresistible to the masses."

"Finally, Revelation 13:1-8 describes the Antichrist as a Beast—an appropriate title for him. During the last 3½ years of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will personify Satan himself. Second Thessalonians 2:9 says, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” Step by step, the Antichrist will promote himself from a European leader, to a world leader, to a tyrannical global dictator, and finally to a god."

(I dont go with the European leader bit unless you wanna include Turkey as a part of Europe, but everything else I am 100% absolutely onboard with, you betcha, in particular the eloquence with which he will speak, leading many to their destruction. And remember there is already AI that can read in 45 minutes what it would take a human 9000 years to read.

Everybody thought I was crazy when I said AI would be the antichrist.

Now?

They have kinda given my case credence.

So who is crazy now?

Would be my question, and why all the hubbub about language focused AI at Google?

I love you honey.

I knew these would be intense today.

Probably why I put it off for a while.

I'll get around to the original PT 2 here soon I hope, but right now these two pieces are more than enough for people to chew on, digest etc...

TTYS sweetheart.
