I'm

just gonna post the screen shot so you can see without a doubt this came from the Mendenhall Reference Bible and isn't something I just made up :-).

This picture also does a good job explaining the difference(s) that exist between this form of government from a Heavenly Kingdom perspective vs a worldly one.

Supposedly found in the early church:

Acts 2:44-45

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.

Differs from modern communism in being:

A) Voluntary

Acts 5:4

4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

B) Confined to Christians

Acts 4:32

The Believers Share Their Possessions

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

C) Not under Government control

Acts 4:34-37

that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.

And no  communism wasn't the definition I read from my dictionary the other night :-).

Ill let yall figure it out on your own :-).

I love you honey :-).
