OMGoodness

Im gonna write in Elmer Fudd on the ballot in the next Presidential election...

Might as well, whats the difference anymore?

And hey, that vote wont count but all the others on the ballot will.

My state will just go red anyway,

so I might as well make a protest vote on the top of the ballot.

I'm just doing my civic duty, participating in the process...:-).

Biden Plans To Refill The SPR When Oil Prices Fall Below $72

And what if if doesn't?

Then what?

Were never gonna refill the SPR to previous levels, were just not.

"The White House has released a fact sheet that establishes its intention to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve when oil prices are between $67 and $72."

(Awesome, good luck.)

"Analysts had warned the SPR release would end up having the opposite of the desired effect but it is a fact that U.S. retail fuel prices decline during the summer, in part at least thanks to the SPR release."

(The SPR release was the biggest part of the decline in retail fuel prices, find me your average Joe that knew that.)

"However, there have been calls from legislators to stop selling oil from what is meant to be a strategic reserve, to be used in a time of emergency. As inventories stand now, the U.S. would only have enough SPR oil for 22 days of consumption in case of an actual emergency.

(What could possibly go wrong in such a scenario?)

"Meanwhile, the administration noted in its statement on the SPR news that the plan to refill the reserve would help stimulate greater domestic oil production as it would signal stable long-term demand.

(I'm just so relieved that they have convinced themselves of this: "the plan to refill the reserve would help stimulate greater domestic oil production". Ya might wanna make sure you got plenty of drilling equipment, spare parts and workers before you go making such forecast. The SPR release was initially supposed to "bridge the gap" until domestic production ramped up, so whatever happened to that idea? Oh yeah, lack of equipment, spare parts and manpower, go figure.)

“This repurchase approach will protect taxpayers and help create certainty around future demand for crude oil. That will encourage firms to invest in production right now, helping to improve U.S. energy security and bring down energy prices that have been driven up by Putin’s war in Ukraine,” the statement said.

Like I said:

There is not a person or a political party on the face of this earth gonna sole the myriad crises we face. The lack of good options to any of them should be pretty obvious by now.

People are just not understanding what time we are headed for:

Matthew 24:21

For then shall be great tribulation

such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time

no, nor ever shall be.
