First the "fluffier" piece from the AP.
Pentagon pause on arms shipments to Ukraine
part of a global review of pressures on stockpiles
AP 7/02/25
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon is pausing shipments of weapons to Ukraine again after more than three years of deliveries meant to bolster the country’s defenses against invading Russian forces."
"The Trump administration’s decision comes as Ukraine is facing intensified attacks by Russia against its civilians, and withholding that assistance could reduce Kyiv’s ability to counter deadly incoming ballistic missile attacks."
"Officials said the decision was prompted by concerns that U.S. stockpiles were getting too low."
(Somebody has been saying
it was the plan all along.)
"Here’s a look at what the U.S. has provided Ukraine to date
and why it’s concerned about pressure on its own arsenal:"
"What weapons has the U.S. provided to Ukraine to date?
Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the U.S. has provided more than $67 billion in weapons and security assistance to Kyiv.
That ranges from more than 500 million bullets and grenades to 31 Abrams tanks, more than 3 million 155mm artillery rounds and more than 5,000 Humvees. It’s also provided scores of critical drones and drone defense systems."
(If those were drones
off the eastern seaboard late last year?
Saturday, December 14, 2024
Then why weren't those deployed there
??????????)
"But Ukraine’s constant need has been for air defense — from taking out Russian aircraft in the early days of the conflict to having to defend itself against long-range missiles now."
(Fact is we just don't have it to lend or give it to them.
We don't even have what we need for ourselves.)
"In response, the U.S. has provided Patriot air defense batteries, National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems and HAWK air defense systems — and still more is sought.
"But those demands are butting up against demands for similar air defenses in the Middle East and the reality that the U.S. military does not have enough munitions on hand to sustain a high rate of deliveries, while providing troops with equipment to train on and build up a stockpile for a potential future conflict. That’s especially true if it’s put in a position where the U.S. has to defend Taiwan against China."
(Somebody keeps saying
that was the plan all along yo.)
"How will the new weapons pause affect Ukraine?
"The new pause affects high-demand munitions the U.S. has sent to Ukraine, including Patriot missiles, the AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missile and shorter-range Stinger missiles."
(That tells you right there we are hurting on those.)
“If we deprive Kyiv of PAC-3 (Patriot) interceptors it means more Russian missiles getting through and more dead Ukrainians,” Bowman said."
"Rather than cutting off Ukraine, Bowman said the administration needs to look at “whether we are taking all the steps we can to procure the max quantity that industry can produce.”
(We are gonna need them in the Indo-pacific.
We walked right in to traps
both here and in the Middle East
to use a lot of these up
before China gets rolling with Taiwan

Not quite an axis:
China, Russia, or North Korea
didn’t show up for Iran
(I guess she thinks its over.)
"The muted responses from Tehran’s supposed partners
underscore just how shallow that alignment truly is."
(They ran us low
of what we need to fight "The Big One"
I wouldn't call that shallow.)
"In reality,
we’re not witnessing
the rise of a cohesive anti-Western bloc,
"...but the limits of one.
For all the alarm over a coordinated front, these states are not operating in lockstep. They are loosely connected opportunists—united more by shared grievances than shared goals."
(We are already low
of what we need
for the big one!
It didnt happen by accident.
These people get paid
to write this nonsense?)

Mom a few years ago:
"You know better
than the people on TV Andy?
"Yes, yes I do sometimes.")
More dead Ukrainians
or more dead Americans.
Pretty easy choice.)
"Does the U.S. face stress on its weapons stockpile?
The Trump administration’s pause is part of a global review by the Pentagon on what munitions it is providing and where it is sending them, and the impact on its own stockpiles.
“We can’t give weapons to everybody all around the world,” Pentagon chief spokesman Sean Parnell said in a briefing Wednesday.
(This is exactly what somebody knew
and was planning for
YEARS
in advance.
“We have to look out for Americans
and defending our homeland
and our troops around the world.”
"Adm. Samuel Paparo,
head of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command,
has previously warned that
the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East
were putting pressure on his stockpile levels."
(US support for Ukraine and Israel
is eating into weapons stockpiles, Indo-Pacific commander says

Did ya hear that
so-called expert
"As Iran launched a retaliatory ballistic missile attack last month, troops defended Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with scores of Patriot air defense missiles — a high-demand munition the U.S. only has in limited supply.'
(Qatar tells of huge cost of Iranian missile attack
The National (UAE) 06/30/25
"Qatar deployed three Patriot air defence batteries in two locations
and more than 200 missiles to down
all but one of 20 missiles fired
on the night of Monday, June 23, said Mr Al Ansari, who is also adviser to Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani."
("US $4 million for a single PAC-3 MSE missile"
So thats 4 million x 200 = 800 million
and 1000 million = a billion
so, 4/5th of a billion $?
To shoot down 19 missiles?
Wednesday, July 2, 2025
ever trusted the Qataris.
Never.
Ever.
"See the issue here?
You are just not gonna win many wars
firing 200 of yours
(very expensive BTW)
to shoot down
20 of theirs
(actually 19)
(Not all that expensive comparatively).
So,
I know the numbers involved in the defense of
Irans ballistic missile attack last month,
on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar
but the AP doesnt
??????????
And yall still cant figure out
why I dont listen to anything
but the voice I listen to?
(Holy Spirit.)
Okay, have it your way then...)
"The Navy also has defended ships in the Red Sea by striking Houthi weapons and launch sites in Yemen with Tomahawk missiles. In one day in January 2024, it fired more Tomahawks than the Navy had purchased the prior year, said Mackenzie Eaglen, a senior defense fellow at the American Enterprise Institute."
(It is simply not sustainable.
We are being bled dry
before "The Big One"
even starts
and anybody that thinks,
Iran China and Russia
are not working together
to make sure this happens?
Isnt worth reading or listening to
regardless of their credentials.)
“Everybody’s worried —
and the thing is,
they have a reason to be worried,”
Eaglen said.
“Air defense is a key capability
of the most concern.”

A Dangerous Air Defence Shortage Three Parts
Ive Been telling people
about this for years.
Not only do we not have
very many of em,
wat we do have
is nowhere near as good
as what we have been told
they were.)
"Is the U.S. producing enough weapons?
(We simply cant!)
"A $60 billion Ukraine aid bill passed by Congress last year contained billions for U.S. weapons manufacturers
to expand their production capacity."
(Probably went to CEO bonuses,
seems to be how things work)
"Despite the billions spent on defense contracts each year, the number of weapons in the U.S. can quickly dwindle — particularly for some of the complex air defense munitions — if a major conflict breaks out. That’s because of the time it takes to build each missile."
($ simply don't = safety.)
"For example, despite an influx of investment
since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022,
(See how it works?
I mention:
"full scale invasion"
as seemingly being inserted
into every article
a short time after the invasion,
and then a few days later
"since Russia’s invasion"
is the first time I haven't seen that phrase
first started showing up.)
"...the rate of production for Patriot missiles —
one of the military’s most important air defenses
for its bases overseas —
has increased to just 48 per month.
That is compared to 21 per month
prior to the invasion."
(We are being bled dry
before "The Big One."
Pretty simple.
Regardless of what the
"so-called" experts might say.
Iran, China, Russia, North Korea
all have 1000's
of cheaper ballistic missiles.
This wasnt by design?
Thats what certain
"experts" want you to believe.)
"While the total number of Patriot munitions the U.S. has is unknown, the number of entire Patriot missile defense systems is in such limited supply that providing one to a new location often means taking it from somewhere else."
"And defending a large overseas base like Al Udeid can also require firing scores of the missiles, which cost $4 million a piece. For other munitions that have been critical to Ukraine’s defenses — like the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, or HIMARS — production has increased from just 5 per month pre-invasion to 8 per month now, according to a Defense Department fact sheet."
(What we have is very expensive to produce
and we don't have near enough of any of them
to offset our adversaries
which have tons more
more easily produced missiles
than we have interceptors.
As my friend says:
"Its not complicated!")
"More Yet!"
:-).
07/04/25
(Cause everybody was reading the Eurasian times on 7/4 right?)
"The US Defense Industrial Base (DIB) is “dangerously unprepared” for the demands of great power competition. Despite a nearly trillion-dollar defense budget in FY2025, the US is struggling to meet its current operational needs in Ukraine, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific."
"Furthermore, the US is woefully unprepared to surge defense production in the event of a conflict with a near-peer power like China or Russia, and the Pentagon remains critically dependent on Chinese suppliers despite years of efforts to decouple supply chains."
(I remember when we started
"offshoring"
our defense needs
My dad said:
"This will come back
and bite US in the ass."
And now it is here.)
"This sobering reality of US defense preparedness is presented in the 2025 National Security Scorecard report prepared by the Washington-based data analytics firm Govini."
"Chinese firms still accounted for 9.3 percent of the primary contractors, or Tier 1 suppliers, involved in major US defense programs across nine critical sectors in 2024, according to the report."
(Flat out
GREED
killed this country.
Why in the world
did we ever think
doing business with the Chinese
was a good thing?
Particularly in matters of defense.
1972 visit by Richard Nixon to China
I was seven.
I remember watching it on TV.
It may not make any sense to you
but it sure makes sense to me,
particularly now.
Find me another seven year old
that was watching that event during that time.
I can assure you not many were,
and of those that were?
Very few of them
were asking their dads
what the significance of that event was.)
"It further warns that the US’s adversaries, such as Russia and China, are much better prepared for a war or conflict situation.'
("We have met the enemy
and he is US."
Our greed, arrogance etc)
“China’s relentless three-decade military modernization— with an estimated $236 billion expenditure in 2024—and Russia’s industrial surge capacity—quintupling artillery shell production since 2022— starkly contrast with the U.S. DIB, which faces chronic challenges.”
(With
"a nearly trillion-dollar
defense budget in FY2025"
A rational person would have to ask:
"Where is all the $ going?"
And remember
One trillion is equivalent to
one million millions.
"$ simply don't = safety.")
"The report blames “decades of consolidation, inconsistent demand, and bureaucratic rigidity” for the US’s sorry state of defense preparedness."
"A combination of these factors has created a situation where the US, despite its decades of investment in the military-industrial complex, remains dependent on foreign suppliers,
even on adversarial countries,
for critical components, spare parts, technologies, and supply chains."
"The report lays bare the US dependence on foreign suppliers across nine critical sectors: Aviation, Maritime, Ground, Space, C4I, Missiles & Munitions, Missile Defense, Nuclear, and Mission Support."
(Not going to get into all of them.
Its why I supply the link lol.)
"US Dependence On Foreign Suppliers
A common theme across all nine sectors is
the high dependence on adversarial countries,
primarily China,
for the supply of critical components."
“The United States is not prepared
for the war that we may have to enter
if China says, ‘today is the day,’”
said Tara Dougherty, chief executive of Govini."
"According to the report,
the missile defense sector
had the most significant reliance
on Chinese suppliers,
having a share of 11.1 percent."
"Overall, in the nine sectors, only about 37% of tier 1 suppliers are based in the US. Nearly 10% of the suppliers are based in countries with which the United States has adversarial relations, with almost 9% of them based in China alone."
“Our adversaries understand this vulnerability. They have built industrial systems designed for sustained competition, aligning production capacity with strategic objectives. Meanwhile, we struggle to translate urgent battlefield needs into manufacturing priorities, often learning of critical shortages only after operations are compromised,” the report warns."
Its all okay though
we just gave
ICE
$45 BILLION
FOR DETENTION CENTERS!
How Trump's tax cut and policy bill
"The final bill allocates
$45 billion for immigration detention centers..."
That is more than the budget for the entire
federal Prison System.
And you still
think that is just for immigrants?
Okay,
watever player...
Have it your way.
Some of
US
know better.
The rough draft of this
was done yesterday 7/7.
Today:
Inside Trump's Patriot missile plans for Ukraine
7/08/25
"Still, Trump and his team
are reluctant to part with many Patriot interceptors."
(Cause they know whats coming
and we are gonna need em.)
"Driving the news:
Trump's change of heart started to become clearer on Friday when he spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in what both sides said was their best phone call since Trump assumed office."
"Trump told Zelensky he wants to help Ukraine's air defenses but stressed that the U.S. had to pause the latest weapons shipment to review its own stockpiles, according to two sources briefed on the call."
"Two sources said
Trump promised to immediately
send 10 Patriot interceptors —
Remember now,
Qatar fired 200 at 20 incoming missiles.
Know what the difference is
in being $5 short
or $5000 short?
NOTHING!
What you have is still not enough!)
"...fewer than had been planned in the paused shipment..."
(48 I think it was, see comments above about
Qatar firing 200 interceptors at 20 incoming missiles.)
"— and help to find other means of supply."
"The day prior, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had called Trump to ask him to release the Patriot interceptors that were paused while en route to Ukraine, a German official said."
(I think I read somewhere it was 48 of em.
Were over here arguing about 10 or 48 interceptors
and our adversaries have 10's of 1000's of cheaper
faster harder to shoot down missiles.)
ALL KINGDOMS END.
EXCEPT ONE.
NOWHERE IN THE BOOK
DOES IT EVER SAY
IT DOESNT APPLY TO US
AS WELL
NO MATTER HOW BAD
YOU WANT IT TO.
