Funny to me

the people that

are so quick to quote this

and not put it

in context

like they will everything else:

1 Corinthians 14:34-35

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

and never bring up
Joel 2:28-29

And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants
and upon the handmaids in those days
will I pour out my spirit.

and when that was supposed to happen

THEY JUST NEVER REALLY SEEM
TO EVER HAVE THE SAME ZEAL
OR ENTHUISAM FOR:

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.

As they do for
1 Corinthians 14:34-35.

I dont think its to hard to figure out
why that is, I just really dont.

Paul wrote em both,
so whats the problem with the one
but not the other?

Cause we've heard all about:
1 Corinthians 14:34-35
for eons now.

But we rarely if ever
hear anything much about

"present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service."

(We do during the communion
 liturgy at our church BTW)

If you aint willing to die
for God that gave you life
and died for you?

Then why are you even bothering?
