Jezebel was Elijah's greatest enemy; yet, to show her how powerless was her malice, God will find a hiding-place for him even in her own country. but a poor widow woman, in want, and desolate, is made both able and willing to sustain him. Another was too slow.
Delay in doing is as bad on the one hand, as hastiness in resolving is on the other.
He asked leave to attend his father to his grave, and then he would be at Christ's service.
This seemed reasonable, yet it was not right.
He had not true zeal for the work.
Burying the dead, especially a dead father, is a good work, but it is not thy work at this time.
If Christ requires our service, affection even for the nearest and dearest relatives, and for things otherwise our duty, must give way.

He told me the story about being in Vegas I think it was and there was someone on the corner asking for money and this guys sign said something to the effect of:

Here's

None of us are perfect, far from it.
But we are forgiven, if we choose to accept it.
I've done horrible things in my past.
Things I've blocked from my memory.
Know what?
Once you accept Jesus as Lord and savior and work down your spiritual path to change your ways?
You'll be forgiven as well.
Nobody ever said it would be easy.
It may just be the hardest thing you'll ever have to do.
But just like the guy that gave that speech at The Walk to Emmaus said,
"Anybody can not be a believer, that's easy."
The biggest roadblock Satan puts between people and coming to God?
He makes you feel like you are not worthy of being loved.
That there is no way God loves you due to all the horrific things you've done in your past.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, could be farther from the truth.
It's like this.
If my son murdered someone?
Would I be disappointed?
You bet.
Would I still love him all my days?
Of course I would.
He's my son, how could I not love him regardless of his bad decision(s)?
That's the same love God has for all of us.
The only reason it's true from us to our sons (children)?
Is because it's true from him to us.
Romans 5:8

With the weather changing and such?

Yeah, lets go through all of those and write down on a legal pad the ones that have the most meaning for you and then lets take that legal pad to somewhere with free internet access and lets sit there for hours that only seem like minutes and lets share all of that with who ever wants to read it."
Do people really believe that this is all just my doing?
There is just no way that it is.
It's like a positive powerful force gets a hold of me and I just ride it out, till the next time.
