Heres

another part of the mission:

What the Bible says about Two Lampstands (From Forerunner Commentary)

"They are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before God. It is as if Jesus is saying, "Don't you read your Bible? Haven't you read Zechariah 4?" Obviously, that is what He is referring to—specifically Zechariah 4:14, where almost the exact same thing is written. In answer to Zechariah's question, the angel says:

These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth. (Zechariah 4:14)

"At this time, the seven thunders have ceased, and the Two Witnesses have been raised up. They are the sole effort God has going as far as witnessing, preaching, and proclaiming His way on the earth."

What does a lamp do? It gives light (Matthew 5:14-16). What are the Two Witnesses doing at this time? Revelation 11:4 says that they are the two lampstands that stand before the God of the whole earth. What are they doing? They are lighting the whole house, as it says in Matthew 5. What is the house? Who comprises the house of God? The church! The two olive trees put their oil in the reservoir, and it feeds the whole church - to do what? To make light! At this time, though, the church is hidden in a Place of Safety, and not even Satan can get to them, as far as we know. We know that certainly no men can get to them.

"we could say that the church's light is at that time under a basket. (More like in a casket if you ask me)Who is left to be light to the world? The Two Witnesses! They are, at this point, the two lampstands. All the eyes of the world will be drawn toward these two prophets. They are the only ones that will be doing good works at that time; they are the only ones that will be publicly glorifying God in heaven.

That is why they are called the two lampstands. They are the only ones remaining to shine spiritually during Jacob's trouble and the Day of the Lord. They will be, in effect, raising Cain all over the world. The whole world hates them, and they will rejoice when these two are dead - because they cannot stand the fact that these two shine so brightly for God.

At this point, the seven churches are out of the picture, so the lampstands cannot represent churches. They picture these two bright lights for God. Not only will they be supplying the church with oil, but they will also be shining brightly as witnesses to the world as a result of the good works that they do.

"They are lighting the whole house, as it says in Matthew 5. What is the house? Who comprises the house of God? The church! The two olive trees put their oil in the reservoir, and it feeds the whole church - to do what? To make light! They picture these two bright lights for God. Not only will they be supplying the church with oil, but they will also be shining brightly as witnesses to the world as a result of the good works that they do."

Thats the other part of the mission.

Capiche?

Everybody got it now? :-).

And I don't agree in entirety with either of the commentaries I just posted parts of, but combine the two together? And a somewhat familiar picture should start to emerge by now...Yup

Lil FYI

The Prophecy of the Two Witnesses

The confrontation John describes is a virtual war (vv. 5-13).

Revelation 11:5-13

If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.  The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

The mission of the two witnesses is to their enemies (vv. 5, 12),

Revelation 11:5

If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.

Revelation 11:12

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

otherwise identified as those from every people, tribe, language and nation (v. 9),

Revelation 11:9

And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

or the inhabitants of the earth (v. 10)

Revelation 11:10

The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

"The mission of the two witnesses is to their enemies"

Thats one part of it...Yup...
Maybe it explains a lil bit of the intensity?

WARNINGS ABOUT RESISTING GOD

Luke 15:17

"when he came to himself" by the power of the spirit)

February 21, 2017

Some Bible readers assume that the Spirit’s activity in Scripture is limited to the New Testament. But actually He is just as active in the Old Testament.

No clearer statement of the intimate interworking of the triune God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and especially of the Spirit’s powerful role can be found in the Old Testament than in Isaiah’s prophecy of the Servant of the Lord (Is. 42:1–9). The passage summarizes the redeeming work of all three Persons of the Trinity in the salvation of the lost. Thus it ties together in remarkable harmony both the Old Testament and New Testament understandings of God’s grace. It also sheds light on our understanding of the Holy Spirit.

1. The Spirit participated in creation (Gen. 1:2Job 26:13Is. 32:15).

2. The Spirit gives life to humanity and the other creatures (Ps. 104:29, 30). It is interesting that when Genesis says God endows people with life by breathing into their nostrils the “breath of life” (Gen. 2:7), the word for “breath” is the same word translated elsewhere as “spirit.”

3. The Spirit strives with sinners (Gen. 6:3), which is perhaps related to His work in convicting people of sin (John 16:8–11).

4. The Spirit came upon certain judges, warriors, and prophets in a way that gave them extraordinary power: for example, Joshua (Num. 27:18), Othniel (Judg. 3:10), Gideon (6:34), Samson (13:25; 14:6), and Saul (1 Sam. 10:9, 10). However, the Spirit later departed from Saul because of his disobedience (16:14).

5. The Spirit played a prominent role in the long span of Old Testament prophecy. David declared that “the Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue” (2 Sam. 23:2). Likewise, Ezekiel reported that “the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me” (Ezek. 2:2).

6. The Spirit inspired holiness in Old Testament believers (Ps. 143:10). And Scripture promised that someday God would put His Spirit in His people in a way that would cause them to live according to His statutes (Ezek. 36:27).

7. The Spirit was crucial in helping God’s people anticipate the ministry of the Messiah. For example, Isaiah 11:1–5 is a trinitarian preview of the working of the Father, the Spirit, and the Son, who is the Branch of Jesse. Looking forward to the ministry of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit inspired Isaiah to prophesy: “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him” (Is. 11:2), inspiring God’s Chosen One with wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, righteousness, and faithfulness. Thus we come full cycle to the New Testament, where Jesus claimed to be the fulfillment of this prophecy (Is. 61:1, 2; Luke 4:18, 19).

What is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit ushered in a new era, the church age. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was a rare gift that was only given to a few people, and usually for only short periods of time. When Saul was anointed king of Israel, the Holy Spirit came upon him (1 Samuel 10:10), but when God removed His blessing on Saul, the Holy Spirit left him (1 Samuel 16:14). The Holy Spirit came for specific moments or seasons in the lives of Othniel (Judges 3:10), Gideon (Judges 6:34), and Samson (Judges 13:25; 14:6) as well, to enable them to do His will and serve Israel. At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was poured out on all believers in Christ, and He came to stay. This marked a major change in the Holy Spirit’s work.

Soup or Salvation?

Your choice.

Genesis 25:29-34

Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.)

Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.”

“Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”

But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.

Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left.

So Esau despised his birthright.

And God hated him (or his descendants at least) for it.

Why did God love Jacob and hate Esau?

Malachi 1:2–3

The Lord’s Love for Israel

“I have loved you,” says the Lord. But you say, “How have you loved us?” “Is not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I have loved Jacob but Esau I have hated. I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert.”

Romans 9:10–13

And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or badin order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls— she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

Whole story reminded me of:

Philippians 3:18-19

For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

Spiritual values are more important than material business.

Period.

End of story.

Psalm 51:17

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;

    a broken and contrite heart

    you, God, will not despise.

Esau was/is by no means alone.

There are there are plenty of people who just can not and or will not subjugate themselves to a higher authority.

They just absolutely will not allow themselves to do it (In my experience? From what I've seen? It's mostly due to foolish pride), and its just a shame. It really is.

I love you baby :-).

WARNINGS ABOUT RESISTING GOD

Matthew 12:31-32

And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Romans 13:3

For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.

Hebrews 12:14-28

Warning and Encouragement

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.

The Mountain of Fear and the Mountain of Joy

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”. The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”(Luke 21:26) The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

2 Peter 2:4-6

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

2 Peter 2:20-21

If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Jude 5

Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. (Numbers 16).

Matthew 7:21-23

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Luke 13:22-30

The Narrow Door Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

Matthew 25:1-13

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Galatians 6:7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Luke 15:11-32

The Prodigal Son

And he said, A certain man had two sons:

And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

There is a big difference between backsliding (Even Peter denied Christ three times Luke 22:54-62) and being led back into the fold by the Holy Spirit ( Matthew 18:12Luke 15:17 "when he came to himself" by the power of the spirit)  and being Godless and immoral like Esau, who never truly repented and shed only fake tears, while still wanting his blessing back Hebrews 12:17 that he so easily gave away. (Eternal life is our inheritance, it mirrors Esau's material inheritance in the story.)

I pray we all be like the former rather than the later...

Like Matthew Henrys commentary on Genesis 6 says..."Though he tarry long? He will not tarry forever" and "A reprieve is not a pardon".

Peace.

I love you baby.

What Does The Word ‘Foolishness’ Mean In Hebrew?
ivveleth- silliness, foolishness.

This noun can mean “foolishness” in the sense of violating God’s law or “sin” (Psalm 38:5).

Immoral...you...foolishness is immoral.

Ivveleth also describes the life-style and activities of a person who ignores the instructions of wisdom (Proverbs 5:23).

It can be used in the sense of “thoughtless”. Therefore, it can be used to describe the way a young person is prone to act (Proverbs 22:15).

“The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly,
But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.”

– Proverbs 15:2

U.S. to sanction over 300 Russian elites and block Russian central bank gold

Lets see...

The only time Gold was mentioned in this article was in the headline. Interesting.

“Our purpose here is to methodically remove the benefits and privileges Russia once enjoyed as a participant in the international economic order,” said the official."

(Ever occur to any one were giving them exactly what they want?)

"Chief among them, the United States is “prepared to provide more than $1 billion in new funding towards humanitarian assistance for those affected by Russia’s war in Ukraine and its severe impacts around the world,” said the official, without detailing how or when the money would be spent.

Biden will also announce a new commitment of funds to help protect global food security, which has been thrown into chaos by Russia’s invasion because both Moscow and Kyiv are some of the world’s largest exporters of grain."

"Through the U.S. government’s Feed the Future initiative, the Biden administration will provide $11 billion over the next five years to address threats to food security and prevent malnutrition, the official said.

The lion’s share of Ukraine’s grain exports currently go to Africa and Asia, and the American funds will be deployed to many of the countries where the population is especially vulnerable to a rise in food prices."

(Like here maybe?)

"In addition to the funds, Biden will announce the launch of a new European Democratic Resilience Initiative with at least $320 million in new funding to support human rights and advance democratic principles in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

(So glad we are promoting democratic principles in Ukraine and neighboring countries while making it more difficult for our own citizens to vote)

The EDRI will include a media component to fight disinformation, will protect activists and vulnerable groups, and fund efforts to counter corruption and kleptocracy, “strengthen democratic and anti-corruption institutions and the region’s rule of law, and support accountability for human rights abuses and violations of international law,” according to a White House fact sheet.

Maybe we will get our own EDRI here someday, you know...to fight corruption and kleptocracy.

It

just dumbfounds me that we are falling for it.

All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”

― Sun tzu, The Art of War

Deep Fakes

Intel Sharing Between U.S. and Ukraine ‘Revolutionary’ Says DIA Director

"When asked specifically about “deep fakes,” including a recent faked video where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is telling his countrymen to lay down their arms, Nakasone said, NSA “is working to understand the key pieces of what is real and what is fake” and pass that information on to other parts of the Pentagon, the executive branch and the private sector where appropriate."

"Deepfakes are altered photos, videos, and still images that use artificial intelligence to appear realistic. They've become harder to detect."

(Just wait till we get Quantum AI involved in "Deep Fakes", they are only going to get harder and harder to detect, and the funs just getting starting folks, who is the master of deceit again? Satan. The question you really might want to ask yourself is...WHY NOW ALL OF THIS? Somebody's been telling you why for years on end now)

FYI alert:

"Rather than asking a direct question of Berrier, Scott said he believed DIA should also be gathering information now on the impact of the war in Ukraine on the world food market since Kyiv has exported in the past “50 million metric tons” of wheat and was “the largest supplier to the World Food Program.”

Compounding the problem is “Russia is saying it’s not going to export grains” or fertilizers and the same is true with its partner Belarus, said Scott. By shutting down the Black Sea grain export market that includes corn, barley, and sunflower seeds as well as wheat and fertilizer, “Vladimir Putin has started World War III when it comes to food supply.”

There is just so much more to this than just invading the Ukraine.

That would be war and famine by my count.

I know where there is a sandbox nearby if you wanna go put your head in it a lil deeper.

Yup...

Notice

China has expressed some openness to providing military and financial aid to Russia, US cable suggests

It was a US cable, not a Chinese one we intercepted.

'In a diplomatic cable, the US relayed to its allies in Europe and Asia that China had conveyed a willingness to assist Russia, which has asked for military support. The cable did not state definitively that assistance had been provided. One official also said the US warned in the cable that China would likely deny it was willing to provide assistance.

Among the assistance Russia requested was pre-packaged, non-perishable military food kits, known in the US as "meal, ready-to-eat," or MREs, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The request underscores the basic logistical challenges that military analysts and officials say have stymied Russian progress in Ukraine -- and raises questions about the fundamental readiness of the Russian military.

(Again, maybe it's what they want US to think?)

I

saw this headline the other day and I just skipped right past it shaking my head...

My very first thought was,
"The Russians have penetrated so deep into our governments cyber architecture, implanting backdoors for themselves ect, (via the SolarWinds cyber attack thats still ongoing) there is just no way we have the colossal intelligence failures we have had during the last few decades, (the intelligence services were decapitated for all practical purposes during the last administration) and then make an amazing comeback in the last 16 months.

Then today doing this piece I thought, well lets see what specific examples they point to in order to make such an assessment.

"the fact that Ukraine is still standing after weeks of war, should force analysts to reconsider their assumptions."

(Maybe that's exactly the trap the Russians want us to fall in?)

"The past few months have seen a remarkable turnaround. Before the start of the war, the Biden administration demonstrated an unprecedented willingness to share intelligence with allies as a means of making its case and advancing U.S. interests."

"Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier, the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, characterized the sharing of intelligence between the United States and Ukraine as “revolutionary in terms of what we can do.” NSA Director Paul Nakasone testified that he had not seen a better sharing of accurate, timely and actionable intelligence in his 35 years of service."

(That's your renaissance? Really? Sharing intelligence? With allies? Interesting.)

"One can only speculate about what else is happening, but suffice it to say that the lack of much in the way of Russian cyberoperations hints at U.S. deterrence and defense capabilities in that area."

(Baloney, it just means they haven't launched a full scale cyber attack yet and they will wait till the best possible time to do so. We were not woefully unprepared for sustained cyber warfare a few months ago and then now all the sudden we are able to  "push back" so to speak, in this area).

Then? Then I go to bed and it dawns on me why The Russians used a hypersonic missile when A cruise missile would have done just fine.

BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO SHOW US, LOOK WHAT WE HAVE THAT YOU DON'T! AND NOT ONLY DO YOU NOT HAVE THEM? YOU DONT HAVE ANY DEFENSE AGAINST THEM EITHER! AND WE ARE NOT AFFRAID TO USE THEM IN A THEATRE OF CONFLICT.

The next morning?
This was the first headline I saw:

"The leading theory in Western assessments of the hypersonic missiles attack is that Russia's number of precision-guided munitions are dwindling fast."

(Discernment alert: If our intelligence services are having such a renaissance? Why is this only a theory?)

"President Joe Biden confirmed Russia’s use of the weapons Monday, stating the Russian military launched them “because it’s the only thing that they can get through with absolute certainty.”

The best explanation Western governments have for Putin’s reach for the hypersonic missiles is that his stockpile is low after launching more than 1,100 missiles into Ukraine since Feb. 24, leaving it with fewer weapons to reliably hit positions deep in the country.

We think that could be one reason,” the senior U.S. defense official told POLITICO. “They’re running out of material,”

(Or? Its what they want you to think. Anybody ever think of that? Sandbagging (deliberately underperform in a race or competition to gain an unfair advantage) for the long haul maybe? Wanting your adversaries to think you are much weaker and disorganized than you really are?)

There are other theories the two people noted, namely Russia seeking leverage at the negotiating table with Ukraine, the Kremlin messaging to the West not to interfere any further and, as Biden suggested, growing frustrations with the success of Ukraine’s air and missile defenses. “As all things with Russia, they could be signaling all of this even if the main reason they used the hypersonic weapon was because they had little else to shoot,” the Western official said.

Speaking Sunday on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” news show, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Russia opted for the hypersonic missiles to gain momentum in its bumbling invasion. But he also hinted at another potential reason: A lack of available weaponry. “You kind of question why he would do this. Is he running low on precision-guided munitions?” Austin said.

"It’s really a significant sign of weakness,” the Western official said. “You only fire this thing if you’re desperate.”

(Or if you want to make your adversaries think you are, which would be much more in line with the way Russians would think)

We're being set up to fall into a trap. We really are.

1 Thessalonians 5:3

"While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."

(And scarcely any mention of who the sources were in either of those two pieces I might add. Interesting)

We could sure use someone with talents similar to hers right now.
