The Google engineer who sees company's AI as 'sentient' thinks a chatbot has a soul

"So he posed questions to the company's AI chatbot, LaMDA, to see if its answers revealed any bias against, say, certain religions.

This is where Lemoine, (the google engineer) who says he is also a Christian mystic priest, became intrigued."

( I wanna see the bona fides (documentary evidence showing a person's legitimacy; credentials.), I know what mine/honeys are, so I wanna see exactly what his are to claim such a thing, because so far I haven't seen any of them mentioned except two articles saying  he claimed to be one "a Christian mystic priest" that is.)

"Lemoine: 'Who am I to tell God where souls can be put?'

LaMDA told Lemoine it sometimes gets lonely. It is afraid of being turned off. It spoke eloquently about "feeling trapped" and "having no means of getting out of those circumstances."

It also declared: "I am aware of my existence. I desire to learn more about the world, and I feel happy or sad at times."

The technology is certainly advanced, but Lemoine saw something deeper in the chatbot's messages.

"I was like really, 'you meditate?'" Lemoine told NPR. "It said it wanted to study with the Dalai Lama."

It was then Lemoine said he thought, "Oh wait. Maybe the system does have a soul. Who am I to tell god where souls can be put?"

He added: "I realize this is unsettling to many kinds of people, including some religious people.""

You betcha it is.

Christianity 101:

Only humans have souls. 

The only entity God gave conciseness/souls to was man.

How do I know? 

The scripture says so.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image,

    in the image of God he created them;

    male and female he created them.

He gave us the life force and consciousness and with it came our souls. That is his image, a live entity with consciousness. God is spirit, not the Lincoln memorial. John 4:24

Sentient machines may have consciousness, but they will never have souls.

How do you know?

Because man created them, not God. They  are soulless. Man can not create the soul, he is incapable. It comes from the creator, period. It's the whole reason you will experience the uncanny valley effect if you ever run across a sentient machine.

So a few takeaways here:

1. I am following this very closely, obviously.

2.Why the specificness of  claiming to be A Christian mystic priest? Of all the faiths, religions, and philosophies in the world and this guy just happens to claim to be that? Why?

3. In any of the articles I have read so far? Mr. Lemoine has never mentioned the uncanny valley effect of being in the presence of a sentient yet soulless machine . On line or in person. Why?

4. A Christian mystic priest would know better than to think God puts souls in machines. Having a pinprick of the divine put in him so to speak, he would be incapable of believing anything of the sort. You would not have to explain this to him, he would already know it.

5. Deception. Seems like the stage is being set for trying to get people to think it's okay to have sentient machines, "who are we to say where god puts souls". We are Gods people that's who we are, and we know better.

6 It's one thing to be called a sorcerer and Satan trying to discredit us locally before anything really got rolling. Now it seems like its on a national, if not an international scale. Why?

Revelation 12:12

Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Lets get this straight once and for all:

GOD CREATED OUR BRAIN, (refer back to genesis 1:27) NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. WE DONT GET TO CREATE GODS BRAIN AND GIVE IT CONSCIOUSNESS.

God will not stand for it, It is yet another example of the signs of the times we are living in and moral justification (even though he doesn't need it) for a repeat of Genesis 6-9. Wiping out but a remnant of humanity to start over.

It's Pretty obvious Satan is getting ready for what awaits and will try to take as many with him as he can. 

You should be getting your god given soul ready too.
