They don't fight like we fight.

They don't think like we think.

They want us thinking they are on the brink of all out failure and then the "hawks" in the US and the West will start calling for all out war with Russia. "We have got them this close" they will reason, "lets just go ahead and finish the job while they've been so weakened." You know, cause that logic has worked so well in...oh IDK, Iraq? Afghanistan? Syria? Libya?

I think it was Friday when Kherson fell and by the end of the day the Russian news services were admitting as much. THATS YOUR KEY RIGHT THERE!. If it was anything other than what they wanted happening? They would have never admitted that town falling into Ukraine's hands. They would have come up with excuses, obfuscated etc. just like they always do. For someone who has paid close attention to things for a long time? This type of behavior is out of line with what they would normally be doing.

So the question becomes:

 Why?

I mean are we really going to be this stupid?

"Well they are buying armaments from North Korea blah blah blah...again, its exactly what they want US to think. We only found out about it cause they wanted us to think so.

"Well they just sacked the general that was in charge of their Western forces and he was only in charge of them for 17 days, etc. etc. etc..."

Yeah and that was reported on the GRU website,

lord knows those guys are just going to make it so obvious whats going on...

( It wasn't a week or two ago we were being told this wasn't an issue, so why we gotta do that now then if it wasn't an issue just a short weeks ago? When they announced the last aid package they said that everything up till that point had been "taken off the shelf" basically and that now? Going forward with new arms shipments? Stockpiles were going to need to be replenished.)

I'm telling you its a trap, that this line of thinking is more in line with how the Russians operate than anything our media/government is telling us. People are going to take the GRU website at face value? Brilliant! A town falls and Russia's news media is like "yup, it sure did", when they never act like that etc...Its not hard to see whats going on it's really not.)

Ukraine has 100? 200? Military aircraft.

Russia has 1500?

Ukraine isnt part of NATO.

Their air defenses were old soviet systems that were not that great. (untill we supplied them with some our ours)

Anytime Russia so chooses it can and will run roughshod over Ukraine, that just doesn't serve their purposes righty now. 

So what does serve their purposes?

Keeping shocks to the energy and food sectors, 

Keep us spending $ we cant afford,

Keeping us giving away our arms,

all these things better serves their goals 

than just taking over a country in a few days.

This is why they constantly refer to it as:

"A special military operation"
