And I don't care if you are Augustine
or anybody else etc.
A long standing view or interpretation
doesn't mean squat
just because it has been
"longstanding"
doesn't mean its correct.
Honest to goodness conversation with somebody
years ago, albeit on a different topic.
"Well we have always
done it that way."
Said in just as snarky a tone
as it ever could have been,
to which I replied in an instant:
"THEN YOU HAVE ALWAYS
DONE IT WRONG."
(From a IG account)
Thinking you are going
to be able to understand
Biblical End Times Prophecy
from a social media account?
Bout like thinking
you are gonna earn a PHD
by reading
the "For dummies"
series of books on a particular topic.
AINT HAPPENING.
And here again we purposely have
a limited number of options
(not either/or like black or white thinking)
when in fact
other options do exist
that are not presented.
To not point out
that other options do exist?
Framing the subject matter
in the manner in which
you want it to be seen from
and not mentioning other options do exist?
Is just not being intellectual honest.
So we are starting off
not knowing all the options
available to us.
Such is the strategy of Satan.
Not to mention
there is no critical analysis put forth
on any of the available options presented,
thereby subtly creating
a false sense of
of the options that are presented.
"They are all
equally valid positions
just pick one,
its all okay."
Might as well be
Satan talking in the Garden.
So Lets take a closer
critical evaluation
at what is presented
(and left out)
on this social media post
shown above:
Most prophecy
is believed to have been fulfilled
in the early centuries of Christianity.
(Which ones?
When and where?
And Who and how?
And I have not seen
or heard, or read
or had anybody explain to me
any of that in any kind of
"coherant, comprehensive"
manner.
EVER
Most of this view centers on
Daniel and Revelation
and completely ignores
all of the Old Testament
passages to
"The Assyrian"
(See:

Antichrist from the Middle East?
2009 BTW
"In our previous article, we explored the possibility that while we understand that the coming world leader, whom we commonly call “the Antichrist,” is predicted to come from the Roman Empire, we tend to be myopic (Shortsighted) regarding the extent of this designation: we tend to equate the Roman Empire with Western Europe, ignoring the eastern leg of this empire, which outlasted the western leg by a thousand years!"
"If we carefully examine the many references in the Old Testament, we discover a surprising number of allusions to this dominant personage as
“The Assyrian.”
This would seem to focus on the region that we know today
as Syria and Iraq.
With the current world tensions over that very region,
it seems quite timely
to re-examine some of our perspectives
regarding the potential role of that region in the climactic Biblical scenario!"
So thats strike one.)
"Many events
in Revelation are interpreted
as relating
to the Roman Empire
and the early church.
Focuses primarily
on past fulfillment."
(Effectively removes:
"The reason we need to study Biblical Prophecy
is so that we are not caught off-guard
when we see it being fulfilled
right in front of us."
From the equation,
which is counter
to Christ own words:
Mark 13:33
Take ye heed,
watch and pray:
for ye know not when the time is.
Luke 21:34-36
And take heed
to yourselves,
lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,
and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it
come on all them that dwell on
the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.
Believing most biblical end time prophecies
have already been fulfilled, removes the need
to do what Christ said.
God don't misspeak.
He told us to stay vigilant
for a reason.
He is the author of History.
He knew the days we are seeing
were coming,
thats why he said:
"Stay Viligant"
and:
In your patience
possess ye your souls.
(Luke 21:19)
35 For as a snare shall it come
on all them that dwell on
the face of the whole earth.
The destruction of the temple
in 70 AD and the associated events
(which this particular viewpoint focuses on)
most assuredly did not:
"come
on all them that dwell on
the face of the whole earth."
So there is strike two.
It also Willfully ignores:
The law of double (or more) intention
as things have a way of being prophesied about
about and then being fulfilled in
different ways in another similar instance.
See:
Thursday, March 26, 2026
for some examples.
It willfully ignores
other verses
that point to a time farther
in the future
that weren't fulfilled in 70 AD.
Particularly from Luke 21:
vs 6 As for these things which ye behold,
the days will come,
in the which there shall not be left
one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
There's still stones standing on one another
and have been since the destruction of the temple
in 70 AD.
When he said:
"there shall not be left
one stone upon another"
He meant the entire temple complex
including Temple walls
as God himself
was about to make
the ultimate sacrifice
right before he said it
making every last stone of it
an abomination to him
as he himself replaced sacrifice.
Hebrews 10:12-14
12 But this man,
after he had offered one sacrifice
for sins for ever,
sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting
till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering
he hath perfected for ever
them that are sanctified.
Back to Luke 21:
vs 20 And when ye shall see
Jerusalem compassed with armies,
then know that
the desolation thereof is nigh.
(The Roman Army alone
including the conscripts
from Antioch
were responsible for the destruction
of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
vs 22 For these be
the days of vengeance,
that all things
which are written
may be fulfilled.
(So it couldn't have been
fulfilled in 70 AD
with the destruction of the temple.
Also interesting to me
is the fact when Christ announced his ministry
in his hometown synagogue and quoted from
Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is [a]upon me, therefore hath the Lord anointed me: he hath sent me to preach good tidings unto the poor, to bind up the [b]broken hearted, to preach liberty to the [c]captives, and to them that are bound, the opening of the prison,
2 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord,
He stopped right there!
(See Luke 4:16-19)
and the day of vengeance
of our God,
to comfort all that mourn
was the very next phrase.
And that is where we are now)
vs 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
We are witnessing this start
See:
Friday, March 13, 2026
It is not just the war with Iran...
(or "...till the times of the gentiles be fulfilled...")
vs 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear,
and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth:
for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
(Again, not limited to just Jerusalem
like 70 AD was.)
vs 28 And when these things
begin
to come to pass,
then look up,
and lift up your heads;
for your redemption draweth nigh.
(So there's lots
that wasnt done in 70 AD.)
31 So likewise ye,
when ye see these things
come to pass,
know ye that
the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
(They hadn't happened then!)
vs 35 For as a snare shall it come
on all them
that dwell on
the face of
the whole earth.
(Already covered above.)
Likewise this view ignores
similar passages in
Mark 13
"The little Apocoplyspe"
1 And [a]as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples said unto him,
Master, see what manner stones,
and what manner buildings are here.
2 Then Jesus answered and said unto him,
Seest thou these great buildings?
There shall not be left one stone upon a stone,
that shall not be thrown down.
4 Tell us, when shall these things be?
and what shall be
the sign
when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answered them,
and began to say,
Take heed lest any man
deceive you.
(You really wanna argue
the first century
was the age of deception?
And not
the cell phone,
internet, social media
Artificial Intelligence
"post truth age"
that even secular commentators
KNOW
we are living in
??????????
"The post truth age started when your grandmother got Facebook and didn't know a thing about photoshop."
Yours truly BTW
"and what shall be
THE SIGN
when all these things
shall be fulfilled?
10 And the Gospel must first be
published among all nations.
(That hadn't happened
in 70 AD either.
With the internet age
think it hasnt been
"published among all nations"
Not:
"Every single person has to have heard it"
mind you
Just:
"published among all nations"
See:
Tuesday, October 21, 2025
and knowing the purpose of the
AS TO:
"why
a proper understanding
of Revelation 20:4-6
is needed
to account for every soul
that ever lived on this earth.
vs 14 Moreover, when ye shall see the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel the Prophet) [f]set where it ought not, (let him that readeth, consider it) then let them that be in Judea, flee into the mountains.
(Version 2.0
This time around

and demand to be worshiped

and IT itself
will be
the abomination
that causes desolation.)
vs 19 For [g]those days shall be such tribulation,
as was not from the beginning of the creation
which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
(They had Nukes?
In 70 AD?
They had Artificial Intelligence in 70 AD?
They had crypto/CBDC in 70 AD?
They had
the augmentation
of evil supernaturalism
that we are currently witnessing?
in 70 AD?)
vs 20 And except that the Lord
had shortened those days,
no flesh should be saved:
but for the elect’s sake,
which he hath chosen,
he hath shortened those days.
(That happened?
70AD?
People Please.)
vs 29 So in like manner,
when ye see these things come to pass,
know that the kingdom of God is near,
even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that
this generation shall not pass,
till all these things be done.
It already should be plainly obvious
to all but the most bigoted
holding on to their
antiquated belief systems
that generation spoke of
that will not pass
till all these things be done
IS US NOW.
NOT THEM THEN.)
vs 34 For the Son of man
is as a man going into a strange country,
and leaveth his house,
and giveth authority to his servants,
and to every man his work,
and commandeth the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore,
(for ye know not when
the master of the house will come,
at even, or at midnight,
at the cock crowing, or in the dawning,)
36 Lest if he come suddenly,
he should find you sleeping.
Which, it could be argued
was the whole point of:
"PRETERISM:
Most prophecy
is believed to have been fulfilled
You bout to be caught off guard yo.
Might wanna wake up
to our current reality.
"HISTORICISM
Prophecy unfolds throughout history
from the prophet's time
until
the end of the world."
(The world doesn't end,
this age does
God comes back here
See: Revelation 21)
(Not that many problems here)
"Daniel and Revelation
describe a timeline of kingdoms.
Babylon
Persia
Greece
Rome → Divided Europe."
(Kinda left out:
Assyria, Egypt
and the one to come
for a total of eight.
Opps
Revelation 17:10-11
And there are seven kings:
five are fallen,
(Babylon, Egypt, Assyria,
Medo-Persian, Greece)
and one is,
(Rome at that time)
and the other is not yet come;
and when he cometh,
he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not,
even he is the eighth,
and is of the seven,
and goeth into perdition.
FUTURISM
Most prophecy
is believed to occur
in a short period
just before the end of the world
(Age)
Many prophecies.
are placed almost entirely in the future.
(That future is here
right now.)
Often focuses
on a future Antichrist figure
and final events.
(That focus was misplaced.
it should have been on The False Prophet
setting things up beforehand for the Anti-Christ.
The Anti-Christ is a bit player
he gets mop up duty,
AFTER THE NUCLEAR WAR
and the 3I/ATLAS
FRAGMENT IMPACT
nd other supernatural disasters
The false prophet is the one
setting the stage for him
and is the
one to whom:
Revelation 13:2
And to it
the dragon gave his power
and his throne
and great authority.
was given,
And the Antichrist
exerciseth all the power
("great authority".)
of the first beast
before him.
Now let us also consider:

"...we are seeing geotectonic shifts
of a magnitude and speed
that are astounding right now,
so we all are trying
to keep our balance a lil bit
and try to understand
what is happening in the world,
there are at least four basic
deep transformations underway
or you could say
DISRUPTIONS
in the world system,
maybe I could even divide it
into one more, because I was going to say
geopolitical,
technological,
ecological
and demographic
but let me start with the
economic changes...
so I'll count
five
very deep changes
that are underway
and they are all occurring
simultaneously and in
a strongly interacting way..."
(Professor Jeffrey Sachs)
"The nations of the earth
are in a season of acceleration
towards both the greatest outpouring
of the Holy Spirit
and
the greatest hour
of pressure in world history."
("we are seeing geotectonic shifts
of a magnitude and speed
that are astounding right now"
Professor Jeffrey Sachs)
"In other words,
the greatest harvest of souls
is coming in context
to the end-time
shaking of the nations.
This shaking
will be like
a “perfect storm,”
affecting many areas of life
—
financial,
political,
societal,
spiritual,
military,
and more.
It is in this context
that God’s glory will be seen
and magnified in the nations."
"Those who don’t understand the biblical narrative or storyline of unfolding events will be much more vulnerable to be overcome with fear and even to being offended at God. As pressures increase, many will be greatly perplexed about where things are going if they are unaware of the biblical narrative of the end times. To them it will seem like the “train of history” is veering off the tracks, and it will feel as though no one really knows where things are going or why."
"There is power in knowledge..
Only those who interpret what is happening from God’s point of view will be equipped to respond with such faith and confidence."
"In Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21,
Jesus identified 22 signs of that time.
Now, for the first time in history,
most of these signs are increasing
and making global headline news.
When all the signs
accelerate at the same time,
("and they are all occurring
simultaneously and in
a strongly interacting way"
Professor Jeffrey Sachs)
"then God’s people are “to know”
(That isnt the same as "church people" BTW)
they are living
in the generation
of Christ’s return."
And also consider:
Wednesday, March 11, 2026
(The False Prophet,
The Beast from the Abyss,
"The Assyrian",
"The Synagogue of Satan" links,
a lot of them anyway,
with some other misc ones as well...)
"The most
influential interpreters
of this book
have seen both meanings
in the signs and symbols of John:
historical references to Nero
and the Roman Empire in the first century
and the reading of the future
in the light of this prophetic
understanding of history."
"What saith my Lord
unto his servant?"
Joshua 5:14
I hope this helps
people understand some things
at least a lil better than they did
before they read it.
What an honor.
