It wasn't a radical new concept.

Genesis 1:1

The Beginning

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the beginning (Time)

God created the heavens (Space)

and the earth (Matter).

They do not, in fact, can not, exist outside of each other. 

And it's a parable! 

It's a book of poetry!

And it's still all true!

We should all do so well defending our faith...

'"...so you have time space and matter a trinity of trinity's there...You know, time is past present and future, space has length, width and height, matter has solid, liquid, gas...you have a trinity of trinity created instantaneously, and the God that created them has to be outside of them...if hes limited by time he's not God..."
