verses supporting the idea of the immense outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will occur in the last days:
Job 14:7-9
“At least there is hope for a tree:
If it is cut down, it will sprout again,
and its new shoots will not fail.
Its roots may grow old in the ground
and its stump die in the soil,
yet at the scent of water it will bud
and put forth shoots like a plant.
Joel 2:23, 28-29
Be glad, people of Zion,
rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given you the autumn rains
because he is faithful.
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before.
The Day of the Lord.
“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 60:2
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
Haggai 2:6-7
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD Almighty.
Verse Disection:
"Once again shake the Heavens and the earth"
God did it at Christ Crucifixion (Shook the earth) this time he does it to the earth and the heavens, see note below about black holes merging.
"I will shake the nations"
I think we can all agree that is happening Right now.
"What is desired by all nations will come"
=
Christ return.
"I will fill this house with glory" =
The earth will be filled with the glory of the lord just like stated in Habakkuk 2:14.
The distress on the earth (tribulation, almost there) is accompanied by the largest outpouring of the lords spirit the world is ever going to see. The two things accompany one another.
The tribulation of the times will lead many to accept the outpouring of his spirit that might not have done so if the two things didn't coincide with one another.
So to all my Pretribulationist friends, why would God do all that with his church having already been raptured is my question, why would you wanna miss it becomes another amongst a whole host of others Ive brought up over the course of the last few days :-).
This last dispensation calls on us to be willing and accepting of others in a manner that we might not have done so in normal times. Get them in the door and save em up, were running out of time well teach em up what we can as were going along. They don't need to be like us walking in the door, in fact they cant be.
