Canadian astrophysicist
"You know in Genesis 1:1 in the beginning, God creates the universe, the heavens and the earth, there is no Hebrew word for the universe but they have this phrase, "the heavens and the earth" So I said okay, then we get into the earth I said, the point of view changes from the universe to the surface of the earth and from that frame of reference the ten creation events described in Genesis 1, I knew were all in the correct scientific chronological order and they are all correctly described."
"The best I found outside of the bible was the Enuma Elish, that got 2 out of 14 right. All the other creation text scored 0, here is a text getting 10 for 10 on the creation events and 4 for 4 on the initial conditions and I knew that was way beyond the science of Moses. He had to have help from the one who actually did the deed. So I said this book actually might be inspired by the creator of the universe."
I had never heard of this man
or any of his books
till just a few days ago
and you know thats true
cause if I would have known about him
and been reading his books
I would have sharing them
on here
for a long time already.
Here are some more quotes from
some of his books:
“Even working within the laws of physics, researchers with an anti-God bias often make blind leaps of faith to escape any evidence of God’s involvement in the universe. For centuries Christians were criticized for their God-of-the-gaps arguments. Sometimes that criticism was deserved. Christians tended to use gaps in understanding or data to build a case for God’s miraculous intervention. Then, when scientific discoveries uncovered a natural explanation for the “divine phenomenon,” ridicule was heaped not only on those proposing the divine explanation but also on belief in God’s existence.
In the twenty-first century
we see the reverse of
the God-of-the-gaps arguments.
Nontheists, confronted with problems
when ample research leads to
no natural explanations
and instead points to the supernatural,
utterly reject the possibility of the supernatural
and insist on a natural explanation
even if it means resorting to absurdity.
(Already been saying it for years,
well before I ever ran across this guy:
They made up fairy tales
(Steady State, Oscillating Cosmology's, Multiverse etc.)
more far fetched
than the one
(They thought)
they were going
to disprove.
It's kinda how
infinite wisdom works.
1 Corinthians 3:19
For the wisdom of this world
is foolishness with God.
For it is written,
He taketh the wise
in their own craftiness.
"For example,
were supported by
an imagined force
of physics
for which there was not
one shred of
observational or experimental
evidence.
The oscillating universe model depended on
an imagined bounce mechanism
for which there was likewise
not one shred
of observational or experimental evidence.
(So much for the Hindu version of events.)
"Similar appeals to imagined forces and phenomena have been the basis for all the cosmological models proposed to avoid the big bang implications about God (see chs. 8 and 9). The disproof of these models
and the ongoing appeal
by nontheists to more and more
bizarre unknowns and unknowables
seem to reflect the growing strength of the case for theism.
(see chs. 8, 9, 13, and 16).”
― Hugh Ross, The Creator and the Cosmos:
How the Latest Scientific Discoveries Reveal God
Same with the multiverse:
"for which there was likewise
not one shred
of observational or experimental evidence.'
A reasonably bright,
properly educated
8th grader
could debunk
any of that garbage.
Thats how stupid it is.
And:
"...the ongoing appeal by nontheists
to more and more bizarre unknowns
and unknowables..."
Is what just flat out
gave it away to me
just by deductive reasoning
(mainly :-)
when I first really
started getting into
space, cosmology,
quantum mechanics,
particle physics etc
some 14 years ago
or whatever.
If you study it enough
you'll come to the conclusion
they are just making shit up
because they dont like
what they see.
And:
"...the ongoing appeal by nontheists
to more and more bizarre unknowns
and unknowables..."
That was written in 93.
It's 33 years later
they are still doing
the same thing, peddling
this bunch of garbage
to unsuspecting masses
knowing it has already been disproven.
And?
its perfectly acceptable
for them to have:
"an imagined force
of physics"
But were crazy
for believing in a creator?
Where I come from
we call that being
a bunch of pompous ass
jerks.
“Innumerable conditions must be exquisitely optimized for the support of humanity and of civilization. Many of them are highly time variable. Evidence showing that a wide variety of independent conditions all reached optimality during the identical narrow epoch when human beings appeared on the cosmic and terrestrial scene testifies of supernatural design and purpose rather than mere coincidence.”
― Hugh Ross, Why the Universe Is the Way It Is
“EXTREME DESIGN
Theologically, the space energy density demonstrates that for physical life to be possible at any time or place in the history of the universe the value of the mass density of the universe must be fine-tuned to within one part in 1060, and the value of the cosmological constant must be fine-tuned to within one part in 10120.{74} To put this in perspective, the best example of human engineering design that I am aware of is a gravity wave telescope capable of making measurements to within one part in 1023. This implies that the Creator at a minimum is ten trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion times more intelligent, knowledgeable, creative, and powerful than we humans.
(Thats why you don't question him.
He knows better than you.
ISAIAH 55:9
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so My ways are higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts.")
"To word it another way, before this discovery the most profound design evidence scientists had uncovered in the cosmos was a characteristic that had to be fine-tuned to within one part in 1040. Thanks to this twenty-first century discovery, the evidence that God created and designed the universe for the benefit of life and human beings in particular has become 1080 times stronger (a hundred million trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion times stronger).”

How the Latest Scientific Discoveries Reveal God
“The justification I hear more often than any other for leaving the Bible behind is that “everyone knows” it is antiquated and full of scientific nonsense, if not blatant errors and contradictions. Amazingly, when I ask people to cite examples, many cannot bring to mind even one. Apparently, they base their opinion on hearsay and repeat a widespread misconception."
(Variety of reasons:
1) They dont wanna hear it.
2) Nobody has explained it to them
in a way they can understand.
Thats gettin fixed btw.
You'll never guess led by what team
of individuals :-).
"Among those who do answer my question,
one Bible portion
draws more vigorous attack
than all others combined:
the first few chapters of Genesis.
This attack opens
a wonderful door of opportunity
for me—and for every believer who knows
something about the scientific discoveries
of the past few decades.
Instead of offering an excuse for disbelief and rejection,
these chapters present some of the most persuasive evidences
ever assembled for the supernatural authorship,
accuracy, and authority of the Bible.”
― Hugh Ross, Navigating Genesis:
A Scientist's Journey through Genesis 1–11
“Winning the Origins Lottery
Nontheistic models adhere to a central premise that humans arose by strictly natural unguided steps from a bacterial life-form that sprang into being 3.8 billion years ago. Famed evolutionary biologist Francisco Ayala, an advocate for the hypothesis that natural selection and mutations can efficiently generate distinctly different species, nevertheless calculated the probability that humans (or a similarly intelligent species) arose from single-celled organisms as a possibility so small (10-1,000,000) that it might as well be zero (roughly equivalent to the likelihood of winning the California lottery 150,000 consecutive times with the purchase of just one ticket each time).2 He and other evolutionary biologists agree that natural selection and mutations could have yielded any of a virtually infinite number of other outcomes. Astrophysicists Brandon Carter, John Barrow, and Frank Tipler produced an even smaller probability.”
― Hugh Ross, More Than a Theory:
Revealing a Testable Model for Creation
“If the universe is created,
then there must be reality
beyond the universe...
The Creator is the source of life and establishes its meaning and purpose....To study the origin and development of the universe is, in a sense, to investigate the basis for any meaning and purpose to life. Cosmology has deep theological and philosophical ramifications.”
― Hugh Ross, The Creator and the Cosmos:
How the Latest Scientific Discoveries Reveal God
“With considerable security, therefore, we can draw the conclusion that even with a hundred billion trillion stars in the observable universe, the probability of finding, without divine intervention, a single planet capable of supporting physical life is much less than one in a trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion. The odds actually are higher that the reader will be killed by a sudden reversal in the second law of thermodynamics.{387} HABITABLE”

"...it's astonishing to me that the more you know about particle physics the more you know about the frontiers of science the more comfortable this whole text reads it's not a quaint rhetorical device for ancient people who had no background that's what a lot of people read this it reads so it could do that but even more astonishing the more sophistication you have the more comfortable these passages will be..."
