this uproar about people having their"Freedom of Speech" being imposed upon.
It's such horseshit.
If I see one more air-head news reporter acting like this is the case I'm gonna blow a fuse and I barely even watch the news
(Thank you McDonald's Dollar Menu for exposing me to different viewpoints :-).
Uhh?
Yeah.
Excuse me?
The only entity that can not suppress your speech is the government, and even that carries multiple restrictions.
If Wal-Mart doesn't want to carry your product?
That's a business decision of theirs, you won't take them to court and win a case by trying to say they are limiting your freedom of speech.
The way I see it? The Milo's and Ben's of the world are out for one thing:
Notoriety and money.
Go figure right?
Controversy is good for business, it drives up sales.
If these types gave their speeches on street-corners nobody would give a fuck.
So, no, what better way to cause a stink than to go right at the heart or maybe even the birthplace of liberal activism?
I'm telling you it's not an accident.
This is "The Young Americans" chapter at Berkeley deciding to do this on their own?
Yeah, sure, right, and I got some swampland in Arizona for sale as well.
I don't like the protesters who incite violence either, okay?
I don't think that's right by any means.
Organized protest?
You betcha, you have just as much a right to do that as you do to own a gun in this country, or you should anyway.
(Could you imagine the uproar if we had "2nd amendment zones" like we have "Free Speech zones"?).
But all these protest against these kinda guys?
They are just giving them what they want, ignore them and they'll soon go away.
("An uninvited guest soon leaves" Thick Face, Black Heart.)
Why give them the free publicity they so obviously crave?
Over thirty states don't have laws restricting your future or current employer for asking for your log-in information, including your passwords, to your various social-media sites.
Why in the world do we even need such laws?
If the air-head news reporter working for the corporation wants to report on infringement on freedom of speech?
Let them report on this infringement on your rights as it potentially affects many more of us.
I wouldn't hold my breath though, that kind of story doesn't sell.
Oh yeah, one last thing, The Young American Foundation?
The group that sponsored Ben Shapiro's speech?
Wanna take a guess who some of the donors are?
Yeah, The Koch Brothers, go figure.
Peace y'all.
