Zechariah

Zechariah 4:14

 So he said, 

“These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.”

Zechariah 7:9-12

“This is what the Lord Almighty said: 

‘Administer true justice; 

show mercy
and compassion 

to one another.

Do not oppress
 the widow or the fatherless, 

the foreigner
or the poor. 

Do not plot evil against each other.’

“But they refused to pay attention; 

stubbornly they turned their backs and covered their ears. 

They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or 
to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit 
through the earlier prophets. 

So the Lord Almighty was very angry.

Dear United States Senate:
Comin for ya.

Zechariah 13:8-9

In the whole land,” declares the Lord,

“two-thirds will be struck down and perish;

yet one-third will be left in it.

This third I will put into the fire;

I will refine them like silver

and test them like gold.

They will call on my name

and I will answer them;

I will say, ‘They are my people,’

and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
